The official MPC Stems web page says it will be released this March. Well, it's March 21 and no sign of MPC stems.
Looks like Akai is waiting until the last day of March to release it, if it doesn't get pushed back to April or later. 🙄
You say you understand if it's delayed, I don't because Akai knew that stem creation technology was a hot trend and obviously have been working on it for quite a while. They've already released what I assume is a beta version to various RUclips content creators and professional producers, so there's really no good reason why it would be delayed.
The problem is that Akai is so focused on cranking out a new hardware device every other year that the MPC software is woefully behind the leading software DAWs, like Logic Pro, FL Studio and Ableton Live.
And...The CRAZIEST THING IS ABSOLUTELY THAT,Akai is NOT CHANGING THE HARDWARE WITH FASTER AND THE BEST CPU CHIP ,OR MAKING IT FULLY EXPANDABLE ,As a TRUE Standalone-INDEPENDENT OF A COMPUTER, If that's the case then abandon the HARDWARE side of things ,and just focus on Software,,,,really more cost effective Right??????

I hope music producers realize how much work Samplekingz have put in to help others know how to use their gear properly and to the fullest. Especially when the only way to get information was by way of vcr cassette tapes tutorials and minimal internet webpage service provided. Salute to you guys for all of that unselfish work put in.

I have zero patients with Akai at this point. It is unprofessional to do a roll out on a product that isnt ready and then top it off by giving two different dates that haven't been met

My boss is contractually obliged to pay me and I need that money to survive.
Akai is late with an update, isnt contractually obliged to deliver it to you and you won't be homeless without it.

@@barrymore87 Of course you wouldn't get the point, they said they were going to do something and they haven't. A man or women's word can be considered contractual. Akai could have waited till the product was actually ready for release and then did a roll out. I own 5 Akai MPCs. Iam a paying customer so I have the right to be disgruntled.
