Inside the tailcap there is a ring on the edge that you use the knife to move clockwise. Its hard to see in this video, but its there and the thin knife edge can fit in the thin opening and reach the inside ring. Turn it clockwise to tighten it, worked for me!
The inside of my switch is different from the one in the video… there’s no ring to turn. 😩 I’ve resorted to using a paper clip to complete the circuit. I’m fortunate the light was on the brightest setting when I dropped it.

It is the outermost & lower silver disc beneath the brass one that you need to turn clockwise. That fixed mine!!

We tightened up the inner fixture of the switch and showed how you reaffirm the tactical ring.
knivesandtools cant fix mine. tried turning both ways. changes how it works but wont work properly
Then you can contact the store where you bought the flashlight, they should be able to fix it for you or make sure Fenix will help you with warranty.
