I think the problem with obsidian is it's price point. Yes it's premium, buy people would rather spend that little bit more for immaculate or something else I feel. Or even play for museum collection which is cheaper and better in my opinion
Yeah it’s a fair shout, it undersells Topps chrome from my selling experience but I guess people see chrome and Prizm as the flagship sets for both Topps and Panini
Well, that was going to hell in a handbasket until it wasn't lol. JMO but I think Obsidian was too late in the cycle for this class for it too really matter. If we just focus on Panini specifically, Jude had one Panini set. Obsidian. Most of these rookies have donruss/optic, select, and obsidian.... Those are some nice sets Obsidian has to compete with on the secondary market. And they all hit the market before it.
I watch a lot from your videos lately and i m happy to see a collector side of yours. I mainly collect Eden Hazard , you have any cards from him or you know somebody with a few? Keep up the videos 🙌🔥
Congratulations on the grades. Great variety, as well. 🤩⚽ I actually adore Obsidian. I think it's the best looking set in the hobby. I love the fact that all of the cards are numbered, the cards feel great in your hands and the all black just looks so classy. They're definitely a tough set to grade but you can usually determine yourself straight away if the card will grade well. Rarely am I in shock or angered by a grade for one of these cards. Would I like the set to be cheaper? Of course, but I could say that about virtually every set on the market. 🤓
I collect Obsidian - but only Liverpool players. Mainly looking for Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic at the moment. Veiga went to play in Saudi Arabia - so a lot of people think he lacks ambition because of it.
