Really enjoyed playing Dragon's Dogma. Hoping the sequel is going to be just as iconic.

Great job on this - I’m a huge fan of the original, it’s one of my all time favorite games. I couldn’t be more excited for the sequel.
You covered everything very well to give newcomers a great understanding of the whole package. One detail to add is mentioning how your pawns learn from you. They don’t just obtain quest knowledge or tactics on fighting monsters - your personal pawn will also adopt your play style. So if you’re the type to pick up loot in the middle of the battle, they’ll do the same. If they see you do a skill or cast a spell over and over, they’ll begin to prioritize the same abilities. Additionally, if you’re constantly calling them over for help, they’ll learn to stay very close to you at all times as opposed to going out to engage nearby enemies (definitely avoid that mistake)
While I appreciate your opinion on the story (it’s not uncommon, if anything you were more kind than most) I gotta say the base game has an amazing story in my opinion. The kicker that I tell people is that you can’t just beat the main and judge the story there. You HAVE to do the postgame dungeon (the Everfall, not BBI) to truly complete the story. Thats how you get the true ending - and even then - it’s far MORE satisfying if you beat it again on NG+ with a new custom character and pawn.
Can’t wait to see what the next game has to offer now that they’re finally going all in.
Good luck to you on your channel, I’ll look forward to hearing what you have to say on the next game.

Hey, thanks for the positive feedback. I try to cover the game thoroughly enough to fully understand it without going full in-depth. I want the player to be able to discover things themselves.
I think there's a sentence that the learned behavior existed and it was going to be longer, but it kinda felt like rambling imo.
I also kinda dislike it when people call the everfall the "postgame". It's just flat out the game's ending.
I hope you can use my channel to find other cool games to play.

Right good point about the everfall. I suppose I just foot stomp it when I talk to people because I think years ago when my brother played it he literally got to the credits and stopped there talking about how bland he thought the story was and I just had to explain, “you haven’t even finished it yet.”
Yeah man I’ll keep an eye out for your stuff. Keep it up for sure.

The menu music into free fitted the theme more closely than you would believe. Have you paid attention to the fact that there is almost always an electric guitar playing in the soundtracks of the game ? And the choice of a rock themed music and its rythm is fitting to the more dynamic rythm of combat (more than many other rpgs of the moment), the core feature of the game for most.
Edit. I like your video overall.

An interesting point. I'm not really that music literate (hence why that section in my videos tends to be short), Glad you liked the video.
