We've had Plymouth Rocks for a couple years now and they're consistently some of the best performing and nicest hens we have! Our coop has some 70 hens, mostly ISA Browns, but we always get at least a couple Barred Rocks whenever it's time to get new chickens.
Great great breed, as well as ISAs. Have had them both. Looked for them in March of this year but no hatchery had them due to the flu. Now it’s all back to normal but ended up with a bunch of breeds that were available and I wasn’t familiar with. Having prolific laying now but some small eggs.
Do u all love barred rocks as much as me??? i can't imagine a day without mine!
