Sometime, I don't understand people (not you Troy). To those poor fruits vendors, they are selling fruits the whole day just to make little money but people still bargain the price to save a few cents or a few dollars. But when they go to some fancy restaurants, they willingly to give 10-20 dollars for the tip. Money that waiters/waitress feel not much important than those poor fruits vendors. I am not mean talking to Troy. he has been doing a good job to help many poor people. I am very appreciate his works. Because this video about fruits vendors...bargain brought back my memories that I have seen many people doing that.
See how she smiled when she thought about her grandkid? I loved that part the most. People are the same everywhere at the root of it all. You got a new sub.
As you said, she is the most charming woman, and her way of selling is understandable but funny and sweet we will love to see another video about her if can be possible
Bruised riped bananas are the best, they have the most antioxidants. Americans don't seem to understand that, they always want perfect looking bananas.
It's funny to see Troy haggled her over 5k dong when he gives millions away weekly. It's humorous to watch as it unfolds. And then Troy ended up with a bunch of fruits he does not really want... hahahaha. Then Troy thought, how did I ended up with such heavy bags of fruits?
She's a born saleswoman. You didn't really buy everything but if you gave her more time, she would have sold you everything. Good for her trying to make a living on a bike. I really do admire people like her.
I hope you see her again and give her a donation. That would be so cool to see her reaction. She might be -50 years old which means when was a small child America was bombing her village . It's hard to wrap my head around what my country did to her people.
Why would you donate to a businesswoman? Buy her goods like everyone else does and she is happy. Giving her charity says you feel sorry for her, that you are higher class and patronizing. Even tipping only makes sense for personal services, not buying product. She was great, cheery and hardworking, hope you run into her again.
This is normal in Cambodia lol and you can sample anything someone is selling too. Probably not very common in Vietnam, since everyone is very loud and stuff.
Wow that CHARMING lady is a GRANDMA???😲 U should just stand at a BUSY corner and start handing out all the FRUITS, it would be interesting to see PEOPLE'S reactions😀
This was in Ha Noi. Like she mentioned in the video, because of the virus, people often tried to stay at home, so you didn't see many people. Normally Ha Noi streets would be super busy and crowded.. If you go to big cities like Ha Noi, Sai Gon, Da Nang, Nha Trang, where lots of foreigners visit, you can find many people speak English there. Regarding the tourism status, I'm not sure..
Troy ,don't tell her about the fruit she's been selling for god knows how long , schoolboy error ,thought you was gonna question how legit the weighing scales were at one point 🤦♂️But i did laugh .Hang's lovely and i couldn't stop smiling 😊
All people who sell fruit and vegetables. Are the same they believe in the products they have bought or farmed. I sold them for years. But I still got convinced to buy 2k instead of 1. In Vietnam.
@gmn mdt Are these the places where fruit is grown?, Or are you saying where the larger variety is sold. i am only asking because i would love to visit the farms and orchards, Not city markets.
Maybe if you let the plums sit in the window for a bit they will ripen 🤔 If my bananas get to ripe I make banana bread etc out of them. It is very delicious and too ripe bananas is great for that kind of recipe. And isn’t complicated to make.
Don't eat the dragon fruits. They'll make you shit your pants. And unlike in Australia, you probably can't just run to he nearest business and ask to use their washroom.
Why always women lady kids girl that always you help . . . Are they the only one needed . . . But i like that you help someone thanks you show me alot of some part of vietnam
Giving out cash to random needy person is awkward. Maybe you should just buy something like in this video, you bought fruits priced at 130k, and if you jave the intention to donate, just pay her 500k and ask her to keep the change, plus don’t take what you bought from her, instead give it back as your gift to her. Simple isn’t it?
Perfect selling, a little pressure but letting you sample everything to back up her words. Willing to work and good at it. Hope you see her again.
She's skilled at sales, very personable. When she said she has regular customers it didn't surprise me at all.

What a nice lady. She looks very young to be a mother of two.
Don't worry. You're helping her by buying her fruits.
It was very nice of you buying some fruits from her. I know you only wanted to help her business. 🙏🙏🙏
Lady: You might as well buy the bicycle too...go on...give it a ride.
Troy: eerr....Ok...how much is the bicycle?
LOL.................hahahaha
She is a natural. I would buy the fruit also and really eat it because I am a fruit lover.
She was sweet. I hope you can find her again and talk more.
Amazing saleswoman! Perfect balance between casual conversation and salespush. All done with a professional yet female touch. Could sell anything.
See how she smiled when she thought about her grandkid? I loved that part the most. People are the same everywhere at the root of it all. You got a new sub.

She is charming and natural, nice to have a chat and buy some fruit. Great video.
I say this with the most admiration and none of the regional discrimination: Northern ladies are masters at sales. They can sell you your own house.
lol
Bruised riped bananas are the best, they have the most antioxidants. Americans don't seem to understand that, they always want perfect looking bananas.

She's a born saleswoman. You didn't really buy everything but if you gave her more time, she would have sold you everything. Good for her trying to make a living on a bike. I really do admire people like her.
She can sell ice cream at the North Pole and Ice Water in Hell.
I don't really barter for small things when travelling.. You're usually talking less than a dollar.. Means nothing to me and something to them.
Your so funny Troy..your the only person I know who buys stuff just to give it away..i love 💘 you!!!!
Wow TROY this one sounds like the GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS!😍
Yes, what a sweetheart. Thanks for this......Sal : )

She might be -50 years old which means when was a small child America was bombing her village . It's hard to wrap my head around what my country did to her people.
Larry Wheeler. Just think how those of us who were there feel. Happy to see that as a country they are doing OK. Nice people.

Why you only bought 1 Kilo from the kind lady?
You should buy 2 Kilo, because the fruits are sweet and vegan!

U know her???🤔
I just translated what she told Troy 😂
I’m Vietnamese but never go to northern part of the country yet
Very likeable lady
Charming!!! LOL
You can do that?? You need a license 4 THAT!!!!😄😄😄😄
She was sharp, you should’ve hired her to help you find good donation people. She’s wired on to the whole scene.
intro music gets me so pumped
She is like a Car Sales Person. All queries will be matched with an answer. The truthness of the answers doesn't matter.
Her "scale" is called a steelyard and there hard to find in the US. They make interesting plant hangers that will tell you when the plant needs water.
This is normal in Cambodia lol and you can sample anything someone is selling too. Probably not very common in Vietnam, since everyone is very loud and stuff.
Damn. Troy switchn over to the Bac accent. Lol
Charms for charming customers?
Wow that CHARMING lady is a GRANDMA???😲 U should just stand at a BUSY corner and start handing out all the FRUITS, it would be interesting to see PEOPLE'S reactions😀

@gmn mdt Are these the places where fruit is grown?, Or are you saying where the larger variety is sold. i am only asking because i would love to visit the farms and orchards, Not city markets.
@gmn mdt Thank you much.
