Thanks. Yeah, I’d say it’s I. The same world as Dirty Shirley. The Shirley has a little more of a Marshall rock vibe, where the REVV has a little more of the Fender vibe. IMHO
Hey Michael, are those Danhage models routed underneath for H-H from factory or did you need to get it routed out? The only thing that stops me getting one is the HS configuration with that pesky push/pull knob!
Yeah. It’s a really big sounding guitar. I think the Tele shape adds a little beef over a Strat shape. Gotoh bridge, alder body, Lollar high wind bridge El Reyo neck. Also Shabat have a way of making guitars that just sound big and solid.
Ohhh the Henrik Charvel modded with a 5 way switch? I love that idea. Love that guitar but hesitated buying because of the stock limited switching. Neck P/U stock rout must be humbucker size as well. 🤔🤔
Your reviews/demos are starting to get a little boring. I mean everything you play sounds good. Except that ACDC junk you demo'd the other day, that sounded like horse crap. Nothing like ACDC. But other than that everything you play sounds good. So that pretty much is making your channel become stale and stagnant. Can you try to play some amps that suck on here? That way we can have some actual contrast between good & bad. All we hear is amazing sound every video..... except the crappy acdc pedal.I think part of the problem too is that you use such good mics, mic postion, room, if not IR where its baked in, I mean you make every video sound polished like we are listening to a mixed & mastered CD. Factor that in, with also that I just also think in 2024 not many if any amp manufacturers are making anything that don't sound good. But come on man, put out stuff that sucks more often so we can at least have some kind of reference point.
I'd prefer to NOT spend my money and time on gear that's useless, or sounds bad. But if you have gear that you think sounds bad that would be interesting for people to watch a video about, please let me know.
@@BigHairyGuitars ok here ya go, I think this amp sounds good if used with the right settings and right context but most people think its crap because its solid state, but a lot of famous records were recorded with this Marshall Valvestate 8100
NOT A SINGLE 8100 for sale on Reverb, ebay, Sweetwater, or Guitar Center used! They must have a big following. BTW, I actually do show gear on my channel that I would consider "sounds bad" for me, and the funny thing is... 99% of the comments in those videos, people say, "Sounds amazing!" "One of the best sounding things you've had on the channel!" It's not really for me to say if something is "bad". I do my best with the gear, THEN, it's for you to decide if it sounds good for bad. I'm glad you notice that you don't like the Heatseeker pedal. Now you wont buy it. Hopefully I saved you $200! That's as good as that pedal will ever sound (IMHO). Some people were super into it.
I think Dann and his brother David are out of this world AWESOME!!!
Man this sounds awesome! Great intro tune Michael!!
Cue TPS Noel's "I wonder what the settings are."
Ha ha just watched that episode last night ;)
Got a G50 but I definitely need to add a D40 to the collection. Great tones!!
Very cool Dan Huff/Keith Urban tones!👍🏾
Ah Dan Huff! What an absolute monster player that guy is. Giant put out some truly incredible albums in their time.
Sounds great as always Michael! Terrific playing and tones! :-)
This intro sounds so incredibly GIANT 🪄🪄🎸🎸
Wow, greasy...I love it! Killer tone and as always, kick ass jam.
It does that thing. Very nice. 🔥👍🎸
Dang man. Just saw the Revv interview and was looking up this amp.
sounds sick
That’s some tasty noodling in the intro. 🤘
I always want to buy most every piece of gear you demo. I actually have ...
🤘🏽REVV Rules!🤘🏽
It sounds nice...just seems very hard to believe that Dan chose this amp over all the amazing amps that are available out there
You had me at Hu...
I’m jonesing for a Revv/Synergy module! Shawn Tubbs hinted to me that it was a possibility.
Would be ace!
That would be cool!
Matchless
Cool
would you grace us with TH-U pack of this awesomeness, Mike? it's not exactly new, this amp, is it?
Great sounding amp Mike...great playing too man. Is the dirty shirly the same type of sound?
Thanks. Yeah, I’d say it’s I. The same world as Dirty Shirley. The Shirley has a little more of a Marshall rock vibe, where the REVV has a little more of the Fender vibe. IMHO
Nice video Michael. Hmm did you do a video on the new Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ yet? Let me go look... I appreciate you!!
Oh, I see you did one on the Mesa Quad. You going to do one on the Mesa mark IIC+? I like to see you review that one if possible.
Hi! I doubt it. I don’t think I’m on Gibson’s radar.
@@BigHairyGuitars Well, That needs to change.
@@BigHairyGuitarshonestly probably a plus, in a good way.
Feel Better

They’re routed for HSH
@ Perfect, thanks man.
Nice Bro
What year is the Tyler Psy Vom
That’s Mikes own Ninja vom I believe 🥷
2022 Ninja Vomit
Hey Mike, what's the specs of the blue Shabat? That guitar always sounds better than any other guitar you play on your YT demos
Yeah. It’s a really big sounding guitar. I think the Tele shape adds a little beef over a Strat shape. Gotoh bridge, alder body, Lollar high wind bridge El Reyo neck. Also Shabat have a way of making guitars that just sound big and solid.
Holy jeebus
Great video Michael! Wow that thing sounds great. Player always helps too of course :) All the best from Down Under.. 🤟
Thanks Simon! I appreciate the kind words! Wishing you the best from across the globe!

Yeah it’s routed as an HSH. That was a pleasant surprise.
@@BigHairyGuitars That is awesome! Thanks for the info Michael!
