With a vehicle like this, for around £75K you wonder what the attraction is for high performance SUVs. It's understated looks (without being boring) are a work of art. The Germans do make great cars.
I can appreciate Tesla, cool car in its own right but I wouldn't consider one over this or something like a E63 in a million year if the option is there.
Agree there though I don't think I'd drive this to the kids school with some of the careless parents. I've seen some bad manner of parking with some parents bumping into cars when parking
Its nice to go away from the almost Hollywood-like reviews of Top Gear and Grand Tour and watch an honest, back to basics review like this. Good work! I also remember that I have watched Ginny's reviews on some other old car show, but can't remember exactly where.
SaLad G Tear it apart? It might end up being incrementally quicker but it's not going to by that much and on the road it'll barely be noticeable. I'd recommend not going for the air suspension in the RS6 though, markedly better drive on steel springs.
all these numbers game cannot really translate to public roads.... how often you gonna do launch mode at every traffic light to test the 3.7sec claim? both the amg and rs are fast cars just down to buyers which one ticks their boxes
Has anyone got an A6? That start/stop button on the passenger side is asking to be pressed while you're driving. If it is pressed while the car is moving, does it stop the engine? Or does putting it into gear disengage it?
niptodstan You can't stop the engine unless it's in 'park' so, as for driving the wrong side, UK, Australia and most of Asia drive on the left so we're the majority :)
niptodstan The start / stop button only stops or starts the engine when it is stationary with the handbrake on and the gearbox placed in drive ... yes it's poor that the button isn't moved for rhd cars
niptodstan Agree, the Start/Stop button is in a stupid place and should at least be on the drivers side of the gearshift. But pretty sure it's common in both LHD & RHD and not solely a RHD issue as Audi makes the centre console in two versions depending upon which side of the road you drive on and the button is always on the 'Otherside' of the gearshift in the RS6.
You're whining about 20 mpg? That's a HUGE improvement over the previous generation RS6s and the AMGs in the same class. My 2003 E55 AMG is lucky to break 18 mpg on a long trip, and around the city? 11-12 mpg regularly. Granted, I do drive fairly fast... but Miles Per Gallon are not why you buy a car like this. You buy this because you love to drive, and you're willing to make sacrifices.
If you can't afford this one, the Golf R estate* is the mini version of this car at less than half the price, bigger (!) boot and plenty performance for the real world where you can't charge on to 124mph on any regular basis anyway. *Soon also in (much better looking?) Seat Leon ST 300 4drive flavour.
Was "forced" watch/listen to an Cadillac Escalade Ad prior to this watch this video. This RS6 wagon is so much cooler than any SUV/CUV to me, and it'll take on some very serious sports cars with ease. A truly unique car and listen to that engine!
@6:10 thinking about other cars like: E63s Break (much fun & beter sound) - M5 break (powerhouse) - Cadillac CTS-V wagon (the american muscle) - C63 break (little e63 brother) - RS4 avant (Same engine & lighter) - CLS 63 (Exotic break) and many that i forgot
You don't need to hold the start button till the motor starts, just click and release. Same with the key - you don't need to wait till it cranks since about year ~2000
Firemarioflower Well Carbon dioxide isnt the the bad guy like most seems to want you to think, but thats not all a car spits out. But yes, im gonna drive what ever i want. I have one life and im gonna have fun living it. Im not gonna drive around in some cheap tin box just cause its "green"
Insanely fast sports car?? Oh GOD! This again. No it isn't, it will never be. A sportscar is designed to tell the driver what is happening in the contact rubber-tarmac, to be poised, to have a rigid and communicative chassis, have quick responses, low center of masses, be light, be fun. For sportscar purposes a freakin' Nissan GT86 is closer than this, and a Cayman GT4 runs circles around it. This is an autobahn monster, great for drag racing or bragging rights in a bar, it will never be the vehicle of choice in a track in any level. This thing has no steering feedback at all, is a wet clutch automatic, you cannot disconnect the ESP completely, electronics are all over the place, it understeers beyond understanding, is way too heavy and reactions are too slow... Still is a great car but nowhere near a sportscar
Anyone here got one of these and have dogs? I have two large dogs and am forced to get rid of my C63 507, since ths is the biggest performance estate I can get my hands on will it be big enough for say two large akitas? If not i may have to go for a 4x4 but its hard to get a decent performance 4x4
I'm surprised you didn't find the Mercedes-Benz E-Class 63 AMG S (previous generation) a worthy competitor... It has got an engine as big as the Audi's, a similar, if not better pace, four wheel drive, a huge boot, and a sound that's difficult to match... And if the E-Class is no more on sale, you could go for a CLS 63 AMG S, given it's the same platform and engine, with just a hint less space... And that is without talking about the M5 Station Wagon, or the Jaguar XFR-S (although it's no more on sale)... Which I understand are a bit too sporty maybe for family breaks
John O'brien it's a wonderful car, but not best ever! the best car ever can be ferrari f40, aston martin db5, lambo miura, ferrari 250 gto, bugatti eb110, not this
Interior and exterior styling is outdated? I'm pretty sure Audi has an update design language? Why is this (judging by the date of the video) new car not utilizing that?
***** Ah. Well, I'm kinda just an addict to high performane estates... But I won't be buying one till I actually need the practicality. ;) I can't wait to see what the facelift has to offer!

Lorenzo Emili I'm interested in the V90 polestar as well, but I don't think, as always with Volvo, they will make a car as fast and powerful as the "German three". Which isn't necessarily a bad point, 600(!!!) is just so much anyway. I think the Polestar will be more of a competitor of the S6.
When you consider I drive a 66 plate Ford S-Max Titanium sport 2.0 180Ps and I just about get 35Mpg. If I had the cash I would have the Audi RS6 lets face it what a motor and motor it can in spades.
Robert Lundberg because the e63 estate from mercedes was in limited production and bmw m5's aren't awd so you lose the security aspect a family car should have.
Hi Bored Engineer, which British cars (of presumably similarly pricing) were you thinking of being better? Britain had a penchant for not looking after its engineering, its engineers and industry. What Germany have, Britain could have had. There is certainly the brains and the flair.... then you might not be bored.

once you drive a Tesla you never go back.
omg. obviously a Tesla fanboys have to be everywhere
Jakub Mihályi ha ha ha 👍
I can appreciate Tesla, cool car in its own right but I wouldn't consider one over this or something like a E63 in a million year if the option is there.
***** model x has 4 wheel drive. even if one of the electric motors fail you can still drive it.
She's one of the best female presenters on the net.
M4st3rm1nd so what?
Neel Beke haha
Neel Beke lmaoo

david dykeman I bet she’s a freak under the sheets
This is my perfect stealth performance car as a family man. One lotto win and I'd be straight down to the Audi dealership :-D
Mububban23 You and me both
Mububban23 mee to mates!
Mububban23 agreed!
And me
Mububban23 trust me I'm in 😍
Q: How do you know that somebody drives a Tesla?
A: They will tell you.
Just the same as with vegans...
Oh, the nightmare, a vegan driving a Tesla :-O
THIS is the best *all round* car. Beautiful, and powerful.
Beautiful woman in a beautiful car...splendid
I love Ginny and her reviews, but I have to be honest and say Matt would be a better reviewer for this beast of a car!
Nice review. It's an absolute monster this car
If i had a family with kids and enough money this would be my car
well.. even if you are rich, the wife and the kids would make you spend so much money you could not afford that car anymore ;)
So true...
maitre between exactly ahah
ILLUMINATUS for the family i would take only a volvo!!! for myself o me and my wife i would take a r8 or rs7 !!
Agree there though I don't think I'd drive this to the kids school with some of the careless parents. I've seen some bad manner of parking with some parents bumping into cars when parking
no make up and great review spectacular 🚗
why focus on the lady that much here -,-
I love the way Ginny is dressed tone-sur-tone with the car

I had a 911 but changed it to an RS6 when I had young children this year and I love its versatility it turns heads especially amongst those that know!
Awesome & gorgeous, and the Audi's great, too.
Once there was a V10 car to beat this RS6... not anymore
Id totally buy this rather than an Aston martin or Ferrari, one of the best sounding cars ive ever heard!
Seriously great presentation. Nice work.
Great review, do you need a co host ;-)
Joe Achilles would love to see you on this channel
Why are the comments so sexist? They're not even funny sexist jokes they're just full on sexist remarks. Damn
SaLad G what do you expect from guys with an iq of used toilet paper?
Dunno why people won't focus on the car she reviews , these RS models from audi are damn beautiful
Lol cry me a river... Pussy is meant to be licked... Period.
ginny looks mindblowing in leather♥♡
no other car like this? E63 AMG estate ;) I'll take this one though :D
Isaac Permentier na the new e63 saloon (estate not released yet) will tear this apart
SaLad G Tear it apart? It might end up being incrementally quicker but it's not going to by that much and on the road it'll barely be noticeable. I'd recommend not going for the air suspension in the RS6 though, markedly better drive on steel springs.

William Ng Indeed, true.
Loving the biomes you're making the reviews in...that is..FOREST🐕
Can you lift up the air suspension (more clearance) for when its needed from the drive select? Thank you.
How many rolls ov flooring vinyl can you get in this

Never knew you could make the RS6 boring.. CarBuyer has just done exactly that
Yeah, another Ginny video!!! This is the perfect daily driver.
JosephM1750 20mpg though
GlitterBuzz 20mpg is a small price to pay for such a great all-around car. The initial price is more of a concern for me. :-)

Rs4 doesn’t have the same engine
e63 AMG wagon is the same thing?
This car is the king of stealth and underestimation
super hot family car... and super hot mom :D
Thank God I will buy one for myself
what about the Jaguar XF RS Sportbrake
no longer produced
Why is propper english so soothing to listen to? its like a trance for me lol

Beautiful car. I'd luv one.... Great video....
You are best..... Love from Kashmir❤️❤️
Emissions!? If you buy a car like this you dont care about that...
And i want one! :)
The planet is not gonna die in my lifetime anyway :D
Would you care about your children?!
burso83 Dont have any... :D
And most youth today are such a-holes they dont deserve a nice place :P
NikesZ28 moron

I love you're reviews! Please review the new Skoda Rapid spaceback Monte Carlo :)
This is anything but an 'schoolrun' kind of car. It's a monster of a sportscar!
Wow a lovely car
Car goals

Best super car for family, looking forward put beside my q7
Sign me up! Oh wait, we don't get A6 wagons in North America. Hell, we barely have any wagons at all, it's barely more than a handful.
Mehn I love this car....I mean what else would you even want if you own this car.😍
Anyone here got one of these and have dogs? I have two large dogs and am forced to get rid of my C63 507, since ths is the biggest performance estate I can get my hands on will it be big enough for say two large akitas? If not i may have to go for a 4x4 but its hard to get a decent performance 4x4

Great looking car, great looking woman and she knows whats shes talking about. Refreshing.
Front spoiler? Didn't know there was such a thing
VW golf mk7 R estate is very similar, great family car & very fast sports car all in once
It's a great car. In 10 years it'll be really cheap and i'll get it ;)
37k on auto trader.
Jack Beames not for a performance model, that’ll be a basic high mileage 14 plate for 37k likely
Just keeps going up in price now lol just brought 2014 rs6 55 k miles 41 k Daytona grey pearlescent ,1 owner epic gnna keep till the day I die
How did they manage to find it in the deadest colour
Does anyone know why they don't sell this in North America? :(
Hasan Al-habbobi Americans don't like wagons because they associate them with being grandma cars
AlexWhoBetter :( I know but if they saw wagons like this I'm sure they would change their mind, no?
Stunning car, it must be fantastic owning one... while still on the Audi Maintenance Plan, once that expires it becomes a money pit.
Cars DO have its goddess. She is called Audi RS6
Want this badly.
Would have a hard time choosing between this one and the new E63AMG 4 MATIC...
Lol hard choice to choose a funeral car or one of the best looking estates ever made mmmmmmm
Is it just me or does the RS6 really suits Ginny? A mother who likes to interrupt lessons with the crackles of the Audi. That's very nice...
I'am Ukranian, by the way my English is not perfect, but I understant all what they sayed, probably best car channel in the world.
SICK rims!
One this she forgot to mention is the RS6 has cylinder deactivation system. Taking it to 40mpg on motorway. And 25 in city
Good looking car and presenter , what a good package they would be ....
What a great car it's the best ever in the world it's the greatest
It's the best car I ever seen its marvellous

Lorenzo Emili please it's just the best
Do a video on Rs7
Sports exaust? what are the standard RS6 ones called? Eco Exaust? really now Audi?
Stock exhaust
Interior and exterior styling is outdated? I'm pretty sure Audi has an update design language? Why is this (judging by the date of the video) new car not utilizing that?
It hasn't had a refresh since 2013 (I think) only facelifts
I wasn't replying to you but okay
*****
Ah. Well, I'm kinda just an addict to high performane estates...

Yeah, I guess I'm not much for convertibles... But MX5-RF looks too good.
bmw's and mercs fanboys are so butthurt that this is, by a large margin, the most insane and powerful family car in the world.
andre correia talk to yourself
andre correia it looks fucking ugly, bland and mundane. Good engine tho but looks like shit
Except E63 will propably wipe the floor with this...
She's a really good presenter
i am very interest to see a v90 polestar with over 500 hp against this beast!!

Well spoken, mentally invigorating
A bit strange that a car reviewer can't think of anothere practical performance car, even Audi alone make several.
It’s so refreshing to see a female reviewer 👍🏼👍🏼
Audi needs to rethink their body lines. Everything is A+ but the outside needs improvement on ALL models aside from the 7. Anyone agree?
Just bring this to the US!
They arent selling everyone is into SUV's now
Love this car someone buy it me 👍
No other car like it? What about the Mercedes E63amg or the BMW m5?

I better get a job paying me at least £250,000 per year if I want to buy an £80,000 car 🚙😕
wish they sell it in the states, even if i dont have the money.
E63 Estate as rival, how can you not think of that?
I wanted the guy to review this car
James Batchelor can't wait to watch them !
21mpg is not too bad at all to be honest.
i'm a bmw owner but this is amazing
A hefty road tax bill eh? What is this "road tax" of which you speak?!
Beast of a wagon
This is a do it all car. Noice 😎
They should have reviewed an rs6 with carbon pack and gloss sytyling
amazing!!
Ginny, blue and leather is very becoming! Make look younger and "hot"!

Too bad we can't get this in the US.

1sub is 1day in prison for hillary clinton Yes it is, but I'm a wagon guy.
