I did a study abroad in Colima in the mid 90s! My husband and I have been down the past 3 years trying to decide where in Colima we want to start spending winters. We love how authentic Colima is!!
you probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Azariah Kason i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This might’ve been my favorite video of you guys. It’s really nice to see your family’s and get glimpses into your lives . You guys really are great people I’m so happy I found this channel it’s changed my life.
Thanks, Ryan! That really means a lot. I guess sometimes the simplest videos can be the most authentic. We always appreciate you and your support. We're happy to have you as part of the community. ¡Nos vemos este fin de semana! -Jim
Oooo, El Remate looks like a fantastic place. Colima seems very interesting. Those volcanoes seem scary though. OMG, you guys actually had your parents in your video. May, your mom is adorable.
Hi Jim & May we went with 10 other people to visit Colima two years ago and we spent three days exploring your area. Lori was saying the other day that we should do another excursion and visit Colima and visit you guys. We were able to it's some great photographs of the town and the volcano.Jim & May keep doing what you do it's appreciated by all. I think we turn the corner on the winter season here in Ajijic it's time to get out the summer clothes. We would love to see you guys before you start traveling.
¡Gracias, amigos! It's a really beautiful area that doesn't see a lot of traffic. So many delicious foods grow there. We had some incredible fresh jack fruit during our visit.
What a wonderful casual video! It was great seeing your parents, too. I’d love to visit there sometime. Between your RUclips channel and your Spanish and Go membership with the weekly practice group online, I feel like I’m getting to know you and it’s been awesome, thank you 🤗
Thanks so much, Jennifer! We're glad you enjoyed it. We almost didn't release this video because we mainly wanted to try out our new camera, but it was a fun way to show what Mexico is like away from touristy areas. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday! ¡Un abrazo! 🤗 -Jim
Would love to visit there! Beautiful! I need to know what places are good to stay and be nice to have someone to be a guide.😀 It seem like its cool in the evening. Enjoy & stay safe.
Comala is a nice place to stay. Hotel Posada Comala is a good choice with basic amenities near downtown. From there you can visit the volcanoes, try the local traditional beverages like tuba (you can watch our video about some of them here: ruclips.net/video/kCnM0OWOfbM/видео.html), the local coffee, and excellent food. Colima is fairly hot until you get up by the volcano. Thanks for watching! -Jim
@@SpanishandGo awesome thanks for the info. Crazy immigration process! But I’m glad you guys are figuring it out. Thanks so much for your content guys! I’m finding the podcast so helpful and enjoyable and I just want to thank you so much for all your work. Btw Jim, did you record the song “yung gravity” cause that song is a low key slap lol. Keep it up guys!
I lived in Colima for 4 months, recently. Very authentic but very unsafe for such a small city. People going down every single night ! The news there always end with.....The suspects never were detained. Full of reatauranta per capita, it is insane ! I suspect it ia from money laundering...Visit the Volcanos (de Fuego y Nevado) while you are there..Comala, Manzanillo, many lagunas to visit. You will feel the poverty the poverty comparing to Guadalajara.
@@SpanishandGo You should be another American was kidnapped there today. The US govt does not have this state on the Do Not Travel List for nothing. Smarty Pants.
There were were 51 school shootings in the US last year. Just under 350 people under the age of 21 have been abducted by strangers in the United States per year, on average. While tragic, Mexico is the 13th largest country in the world and you’re concerned about a few kidnappings of u.S. citizens. You’re blowing the news out of proportion.
@@SpanishandGo Imagine not understanding the concept of "per capita." It's literally THE most violent place on the planet outside of a direct warzone. I love the old "durr America has school shootings" cope. First, most of the "school shootings" you see listed were not "school shootings": they were unrelated, targeted shootings between hostile acquaintances that happened on a school property, usually gang violence and generally in a secluded parking lot, not shootings that were a danger to the public at large. The number is inflated, because only America lists these as "school shootings" while other countries don't. 53 known school property shootings out of over 120,000 school, colleges and universities. 44 victim deaths, 21 of which were from a single attack, the 3rd worst ever, not a pattern. 18/23 remaining deaths were targeted shootings, almost all between mutual criminals, that happened to be on a school-owned property, where the school location itself was not a primary factor. Almost all were after school hours, most after a night football game where local criminals and gangs fight in parking lots. Calling these "school shootings" would be like calling all public shootings "sidewalk shootings", when the sidewalk location itself is not at all important to the crime.
Hola un saludo muy grande desde Canada! Soy brasileño y mi esposa Colimota ai vivimos hermosos 5 años amo este lugar!!

That volcano! You should climb to the top sometime!
"Nobody really visits here". That's the main reason for travel. To go places nobody else goes. Example:Anthony Bourdain.
I really like seeing you 2 in Mexico again!
I want to visit Colima now! Thank you for the video.
It’s nice to see you guys again! Are you going back to Puerto Rico? Nice part of Mexico. Would like to see more of it. Thank you guys.
