Back in the early nineties, I remember seeing Alex Winter as a guest on the Arsenio Hall show. Arsenio brought up the then upcoming series, and Alex basically just told the audience the truth, that the show just wasn't very good, and to avoid it. I remember him saying that they (the executives at Fox) initially wanted him and Keanu Reeves to come back, but then in their pitch telling them they wanted to make the humor more like the ''Porky's'' movies. Wisely Alex and Keanu passed.

I had no idea that it was changed to coincide with the live action series. But even crazier is like...it's one thing when an actor like Keanu gets a little too big time to do a cartoon like that, either because they're too big for it or be theyve become too expensive to keep....but to actually REPLACE an actor like Keanu...not only that, but to replace the original stars of the films?!
