As a Tampa fan this sucks really badly. Stamkos scored 40 goals this year and they did not talk to him until after they were out of the playoffs

Luka is massively hating on the oilers it’s so funny, as an oilers fan I’m not pissed about the loss it’s awesome to finally make a difference/deep run in the post season, something leaf fans can’t say they have done. Also saying the oilers had an easy path to the finals is a joke, yes Demko was out but silovs was never the problem, he was amazing and probably the Canucks best player. Dallas was regarded as the deepest team in the playoffs. La has 2 of the better defensive forwards in the league in Kopitar and Phillip Danault and run a 1-3-1 that would cripple most teams offence. The oilers outplayed Florida in games 1-3-4-5-6 and Bob stole games 1-3, Florida was the better team in games 2-7, without bob the oilers take the series in 5. not a single oilers fan is sad rn, we all can’t wait for next season. Also Leon will resign in Edmonton, it might be a ridiculous amount for 8 years but he will resign.

i am an oilers fan, i am the most optimistic i have been while watching hockey. picking up skinner and arviddson were great additions to the forward group. sure, a top 4 LD would be ideal in replacing ceci and nurse, but with the cap space we had to work with, theres only so much we couldve done. the loss stung for about a week but then i realized that teams that lose in the finals, usually win the next year.
Teams that make it to the finals don't usualy win the next year...7 of the losing teams have not made it back to the finals in the last 10 years and 2 of the ones that did are the same team.. Tampa.
@@Devilpogoteams don’t usually come back from a 3-0 deficit in the cup final to 3-3 too. What’s your point here? Look at the roster, history doesnt have much reference value

As a flames fan I’m super excited because this team has been stuck in mediocrity for the past like 15 years so to finally see some direction in the team is really refreshing and hopefully we can actually be good in a few years. Also I’m happy for chucky and also happy the oilers lost

Quiz idea: starting from the top points leader in the nhl all time (aka Gretzky) and going down the list name which teams they have played for so for example Gretzky will be oilers kings rangers and blues and then move to the next player with the second most points etc
This was insanely disorganized. Should have done a post season chart before UFA, then had a segment where they just discussed the signings that rolled in, then at the end did a movement of the overall board.

Idk but it’s a horrible deal, Slaf probaovly laughed to himself when they offered him that, he’s going be worth 5-6 mil at his peak which is good but he should of got like 2 years 3.5 maybe 4 mil

@@iamyou2303 again, Slaf at 19 put up 50 points and showed crazy improvement in the 2nd half, we're betting on potential. There's always a chance it doesnt work out but there's also a chance he goes crazy and this is a massive steal

Ive just wasted 40 minutes of my life on this podcast. Far too much talking about fishing. The four guys are clearly uncomfortable with eachother, conversation didn't flow, they obviously don't like eachother. Too much arguing. Super salty Jets fan with the super winey voice done my head in too, and he clearly hates the guy on the laptop.
