Max is EXACTLY right! If you have the best team you’re more likely to win in the NBA. If you’re an team a little above average you have a chance in the NFL but no shot in the NBA.
What if you have no superstars on an NBA team then what??
@@mrmillennium2697 like he said u have no shot
What’s more likely a super team winning the finals or a super team winning the super bowl? Just asking for a friend .
@@secondchance5080 What's more likely a team with no superstar to win in the NBA or a team with no superstar to win in the NFL, consider that before all you think about is a super NBA team. Win are the Timberwolves gonna win a chip?, huh bro
So Perk was right in the sense that there is less to play for in the NBA, since short of injuries (the only real wild card), the best team is almost always going to win. In the other leagues, every other good team has a chance, and in the NFL, even a vastly inferior team has a puncher's chance in the Super Bowl.
So depending on perspective, they're both correct. When Michael Jordan started winning, it was monumentally difficult for any other team to win. Even Pat Riley admitted after MJ defeated his Heat in the ECF, that no one else could win until MJ retired. I don't know how you motivate a team after saying that, even if he was being brutally honest. When Tom Brady played, it was incredibly difficult for the Patriots to win, as all but one of their Super Bowls came down to the last drive, with two of their first three ending with Vinatieri field goals in the last seconds, and the next two having the opponents snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory...

@@yungmatt009 Yup remember when Allen Iverson and the 76ers went to the finals against the Lakers with Kobe and Shaq and the Sixers won the first game then the Lakers won 4 straight after that. The betrer team always win in the nba unlike the nfl where you can get lucky by winning that one game.
The difficulty is about equal, just different circumstances.
The difference comes in repeating as Champs. The scheduling in football makes it harder for a repeat champion.
If the nba playoffs was nfl playoff format lakers would be first round exits

@Dennis Leavitt if you think that you are not educated enough then that’s all
@@smooth2120 think about it. In the nfl, teams can win solely because of a fluke. The 2007 and 2011 superbowls are prime examples. The patriots were clearly the better team both times they met the giants, but in both games, events that would've never happened in a million years cost them the game. Not because the giants were better, they lost because the giants got lucky. In the nba, luck has almost no bearing on who wins because the winner has to beat the loser 4 times, which definitely proves which team is better. In the nfl, anyone can win at any moment even if they aren't the better team

Facts and an nfl team could just not be playin good that day but doesn’t get another chance
They’re both hard but NFL is honestly harder.
There are many things out of your control as an NFL player that need to go your way.
On top of that every game in the NFL matters. If you lose then your season is over.
Make sense!
Spitting fax one game in a 7 game series would swing the odds but you still have 6 games to compensate while nfl is physical its one and done its way harder to make a comeback
Yeah and having a seven game series makes it easier for the better team to win.
That’s why it’s easier- (NFL) luck is involved (vs 7 game series). The movie is called, ANY given Sunday for a reason. NBA, you HAVE TO BE best team (generally, baring injures).
There are a LOT of thing out of an NBA players control also but the numbers say that it's harder to win an NBA title and it's not even close. Let's start with the fact that only 3 teams have won 2/3 of all the NBA's titles and only 4 teams have 5 or more titles and 14 NBA teams have never won a title. In the NFL Conversely 7 NFL teams have won 5 or more and only 7 haven't ever won an NFL title. The NFL also makes it so that teams can go from worse to first much easier than in the NBA. Also when you add that it's easier to find NFL talent than it is NBA talent I'd say it MUCH easier to win in the NFL.
SAS be twisting his neck like he really bout to do some physical activity 😂 @3:03

Perks own argument destroys his argument. The fact that series are 7 games allows for players to not be perfect. IE: Lebron against the Spurs. When brady had a bad game against the giants, they lost their perfect season.
But think bout this. The 2016 warriors would be champs if they played in the nfl. But they lost the series in 7 games. It works both way buddy. NFL it’s one and done and you’re building a 53 man roster with turnover every offseason
I think it's harder to win in the NFL period. However beating a #1 team 4 consecutive times proves that you're the undoubted champion and the best team of that season. Imho usually means in my honest opinion, doesn't it? I thought she read that wrong..
@Dennis Leavitt lol you're saying that like h can't possibly stand for "honest". My bad dude
Easy answer it depends on *who the team is*
Easier for good teams to win in the NBA
Easier for bad teams to win in the NFL
7 game series allows it to play out to where the best team always win.
1 game elimination allows teams to get lucky and beat superior teams only once before advancing. The Jets would beat the Buccaneers once before the Timberwolves would ever beat Lakers in a 7 game series.
Best thing said on here and I looked through them all no one considers the team in the conversation there just talking about the super teams....bruh as a Hornets fan they're never going to win sh*t EVER
Tom Brady’s 7 rings are more impressive than Bill Russell’s 11 rings
Bill Russell plays basketball, he’s more responsible for 5 of his rings than Brady is for 7. It’s based on proportions. He shares the floor with less player and has more things he can do to contribute to winning without restrictions.
Dan and many other NFL experts rave about how team dependent the QB position is which is in line with being less responsible for the outcome.
What?? Do you realize how hard it us to win 7 rings in football? Second most ever has only 4 and then the # of rings by players drastically falls from there. Marino went his whole career w/o one
@@vulcanraven9701
Football is a more team dependent sport so while it is harder, it’s not as significant because it takes more of a team effort than other sports to do. For example if someone wins a ring in baseball it doesn’t hold as much weight as a Heavyweight Championship in Boxing because it’s less help and team dependent and they are more in control of the results.
@@worldtree2027 But NBA kinda sucks b/c they can just take a quick shortcut to win title. Join other superstars. In NBA that team can last for years. The challenging aspect of NFL makes it more gratifying. In NBA the predictability/lack of parity gets so bad that people just say "wel, how many titles will team will"? And pundits spend all yr just drawing up garbage storylines like "which superstar would you rather have on your team"? I could never be a basketball fan tbh
When Max breaths, Stephen A: "YOU'RE WRONG! HERE'S WHY"!

Just think about this since in the 2000 & now the NBA has had 4 Dynasty, the NFL only 1
I’m a basketball guy but it’s harder in the nfl. You don’t have as many chances to figure out your opponent and one bad call and season over vs NBA one bad call means on to the next game.
You get a week to figure out your opponent and rest. I say it varies based on team quality not that it’s a definitive answer. It’s easier for bottom teams to win one game in the NFL than it is for bottom teams to win 4 in the NBA.
But the better team has a better chance to go to the finals than the nfl. The better team is harder to beat

Kendrick Perkins n SAS falling back when Max opens his mouth 😂
Football is the ultimate team sport. No matter how good the QB is they cannot play defense or special teams. You’re reliant upon your teammates more so than in basketball. Since there’s 3 facets to the game you ultimately play a 33% role whether that’s offense, defense or special teams. In basketball one player can dominate on both sides and carry you to a ring.
No it's not the best team sport is soccer or rugby
idk who taught you math but if anything its 20% or even less if you don't play the whole game. Second this notion that one person can win a ring still makes no sense, mj without pippen, 0 rings, kobe had shaq and then pau gasol, lebron had wade and kyrie and ad. kareem had magic like who tf won a ring by themselves
Nfl is sudden death. Way harder to win
@@hbb7528 Rugby over football? Look I can see Soccer but I’d take Football over Rugby.
@@jhacebuckley5204 but one player can help a lot. None player won’t win a ring alone but having lebron gives you a more favorable shot
