- Heading east to Rochester, NY for one of my favorite obscure industrial railroads, the former Kodak Park Railroad, now Rochester Switching Services, spends an overcast morning working industries in Eastman Business Park, picking up a tank car from one of the many Kodak buildings before spotting a boxcar at LiDestri Foods with an old MP15AC from the Kodak Park Railroad days!

Love the piping expansion loops.
Great video, nice switcher.
Super, all that Industry and Vessels, Tanks, Pipework and Pipe-Gantries - with a Switching Railroad going thru the Heart of it all. Happy days designing those things (apart from when I woefully underestimated the amount of Concrete Foundations required in some very unstable terrain)
Great work Matty, that industrial park has model railroad written all over it! 🇺🇸
Thanks!
Very awesome Video!👍
Thank you!
It’s mind boggling how big that old Kodak industrial site is… on Google Maps it looks larger than the Bethlehem Steel site in Lackawanna.
Looks like a very busy area! Catching the MP15AC working is great stuff! 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes and no. While the switching crew is busy enough to run 5-6 days a week, compared to when Kodak was running full bore, this place is a ghost town. Regardless, I'm glad they kept the MP15, which was one of three Kodak Park Railroad used back in the day, as it's the best part of this industrial railroad!
Really enjoyed that, very interesting. So many miles of pipe OMG. Thanks!
Thanks man! Yeah I know, the amount of piping in this place is insane!
That’s a great looking switcher. Love the paint scheme and weathering. I’d love to model that in HO scale.
Very cool video
Thanks!
Love the drone footage man!
@@brandonreeves5979 Thanks!
Awesome video and location!
Thank you!
Good job Mr Gunn!
@@jimikrentkowski4073 Thank you sir!
Just brilliant!!! Took me bit to figure where you were.
Thank you! I love this area, though I wish I was accessible from ground level. At least my drone gets around just fine!
Most folks in Rochester don't know this exists. I drive by often and this is a better view than I see on Ridge Road or Lake Avenue. It's not as busy as it once was.
This is one railroad I'm glad I found out about, and one that makes me glad I have a drone. I do wish I saw this operation back when Kodak was booming, but I guess this is better than nothing!
Even with some compression trying to put that in a ho or o scale layout would be daunting and the room required crazy lot of switching action but few cars and only one engine
Good video though
