I’ll never forget when I begged and begged my dad for bangs and he said with curly hair it won’t look good but when I got older and found videos and now THIS just shows me it would’ve looked amazing!! I’m glad I’m old enough that I can now one day get this style. It looks so cute!! Can’t wait
my hair is 3a and 3b and honestly i wouldn’t say she’s wrong about her curl pattern. it just seems very fine and thin.
she does have a mixture of other curl patterns for sure.
@@haizelmary1656 It seems like a type "3.5" if that makes any sense. Not 3C, and not a 4, and also not a 3A.
It is really beautiful! I’m glad they showed the full process. It’s a lot of steps to define curls and keep hair from frizzing
It is a lot of steps because they invented the need to use 2000 different products. I took care of my hair for 30 years before the natural hair trend began and didn't spend almost a day to "style" it.
Since I was 13 back in 1987, I've had gorgeous curly hair to the point my friends would cause world war 3 if I said I'd straighten my hair for good.😂
Influencers created a whole generation of people that think this is needed... so they can make money by videos and deals with brands if they get large enough.
Curly hair will curl if it is truly curly hair. Daily I don't spent more than 15 min caring for mine outside of the bathroom.
I wet it every single day and I have to finish it every day too. I wished I had the time to record videos on how I care for my hair. I'd do the full 15 min for people to see.
@@Willowy13 really depends on the type of curly hair you have. I have 4c curl and have spent the gdp of a small nation and countless hours trying to define the curl and keep it from frizz. I’ve all but given up because it’s a hairstyle and not a lifestyle. You’re fortunate that you can curl your hair with few products and little time
To be fair, the model did say she’s a 3C. R29 is just putting up what she’s claiming. Even if a lot of us disagree. 👀
Yes, I agree but feel they could’ve changed the title, done some research and hell maybe even taught her a little something. Nothing is wrong with her text or them highlighting the style but it’s not accurate and it feels like once again women with different usually more textured hair are ignored left out and or disregarded. But I feel ya
her hair is so pretty, absolutely beautiful!!
As a straight bald male--I don't know why I'm watching this..but here I am.
What does your sexuality have to do with hair?
@@maya-uz4wc Oh not one of those people.... Good job I didn't accidentally say I'm white. You know exactly why, you're just being pedantic. Historically/stereotypically the majority of straight males couldn't give two hoots about hair, nevermind a females. But you already knew that.
Omg her curls are beautiful
If her hair is 3C mine must be 5g lol
lmfao I'm saying. Seriously though all anyone has to do is Look at her edges they are straight and flat. It's not as course as my 3c.
😂😂😂
Lol!!!
💀🤣😂🤣🤣
Gorgeous hair!!! Wow!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Gorgeous hair. She got even more beautiful. It is my exact pattern (3a/3b) and I am about to cut mine. So difficult to choose. Iwant a angled bob but I also love bangs. I think I am to combine both.
her curl pattern is definitely more kinky compared to 3a and 3b patterns. her hair also looks very fine but dense. i have a feeling her before-hair weighed her curls down a lot (especially if she was using heavy products) and getting the fresh wash and cut got rid of any buildup and brought her curls back to life making them bounce right back up
I KNEW the bangs was going to be a bad idea. The curls at the end is 🔥.
She looks so gorgeous!! She is 3b, my hair is similar to hers. In my opinion, at the beginning it looked a little like a 3c. But then a 3b for sure. Hair can change with a hair cut for sure. It has happened to me. Sometimes the ringlets are like super stringy sometimes super sharpie defined, so confusing. But whatever, I have learned that the important part is the porosity, to learn how to style and treat the hair properly. In any case, whatever pattern she actually has, it's gorgeous 🤩😍🌞🌻
she's 3c
@@SunnieBal you're delusional
Looks great!
ITS BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍
I love her curls
This is rlly cute!
I’m mixed and I went to the comments just to see everyone get mad about “3c”
Who cares if you're mixed? Lmaooo
@@MickeyAndMore Right. I don’t find that relevant.
Triggered.
@@MickeyAndMore Reminds me of that meme talking about how mixed people are always mentioning they’re mixed unprovoked 😂😭😭 Like Logic, Drake, etc.
@@MickeyAndMore because I gave this hair type and I know people will react over 3c
Most of her hair is not 3C.
The cut is okay, but I think it’s giving a little bit of a triangle look. More of a heart shaped cut would look better, so that the hair doesn’t look like it’s weighing her down.
I also thought she looks more like a 3B. I am somewhere between 3A and B and her curls are not much tighter than mine. And I agree the cut is not ideal. But she's a gorgeous girl no matter what!
i like that the hairdresser kept her length!!!
I would have given her more layers so the shape isn't so triangular. I have the same issue with curly coarse hair that's so thick and bushy, my face kinda gets lost in the bulk.
I have similar hair and i wanna get bangs because my face is super asymmetrical and i think it would help. im just so scared its gonna come out bad
Wow she is so gorgeous
Her hair is not 3c are Yall serious!!!
they’re losing their minds
Right!
Which hair type is it?
Perm 3c Yal chill 😂never said she was born wit it 😂😂😂😂
She said she was between 3b/3c though?? Which it looks like she is.
Really beautiful her hair looks so soft the only thing I think she was missing maybe just a little flat on top.
Wow 😍
I thought I had 3B hair, but mine is so wiry compared to this. It's always held down straighter when wet, yes, but it's on the wiry side and doesn't make spiral curls like this. It's very sparse (fine) but thick.
Thanks, I have her old hairstyle and always thought if I should get bangs, and the answer is no.
I think layers with a bang would have suited her a bit better. I feel like she has more lower face width so length with no movement would drag her face down more versus keeping length but adding a bit of layers to give a bit of volume at the top, but not too much...also maybe she could add a cream with a good moisture spray leave in and strong hold gel...with a light weight oil to break the gel cast once her hair is set I feel like we might have the same texture (mine is definitely a bit curlier, higher density, and I have two textures in my hair) but if you want a spray leave in and your hair to last having an extra cream or foam could help keep the hair from frizzing as fast. Ok I'll stop rambling 😅
Would you add the hair oil before or after diffusing? I use a light styling cream and light hold gel and still get frizz. ;(
@@everberry51 if you use a strong hold gel you have enough to wait for it to be 100% dry, for me it takes drying with a diffuser and drying over night. Then I use oil to break the gel cast and try not to mess with it too much after besides lightly using my fingers to separate the bigger clumps. Do you use small sections or big sections? Small sections have more definition, less volume on the first few days, and less frizz...but frizz is inevitable
It came out really pretty… it’s like a 3b maybe 2.. but it’s still came out nice
it's giving Layla El-Faouly 💕
I'm a bit torn on this one. I think the bangs in general are great bit she needs more volume on top and less on the bottom.
Subtitle is wrong at 1:47, she says "porosity", subtitles say "veracity"
Curls are better cut when damp The Ouidad Carve and Slice technique is done on wet hair. The advantage of cutting on damp hair instead of dry curls is that it allows the stylist to better understand your natural curl pattern and, in turn, give a more effective cut.
I wish she'd left out the hair typing... It's distracting from a pretty informative video. Happy she's happy.
Please stop using the hair typing system lmao
Looks healthier, but a little too Jheri-Curl for my taste.
1:32 she says “I would say I’m like a 3B, 3C. I’m in between there.” Y’all need to CHILL, she literally clarifies it for everyone complaining that this girl said 3C. Did you even watch the video or just complain after you were initially triggered?
I think the problem is NOT her it’s their tittle. They didn’t say 3b/3c gets bangs….so what happens is people feel mislead and disregarded like what happens when certain hair textures and skin hues are ignore.
first let me start by saying i know no one asked lmao..
i think her bangs should have started from the back a little more, this cut makes her hair look really heavy and her bangs look really thin and accentuate her forehead too much.
also more that no one asked for.. i had bangs when i used to straighten my hair but i’ve been wearing my hair naturally curly for over 10 years now and couple years ago i kept seeing curly girls getting bangs (over the forehead), so decided to cut them myself.. honestly it was one of the best hair changes i’ve ever made! but now i’m over them 🥲 because keeping up with the balance of the cut got tiring after i grew out my processed hair. i constantly kept running into the issue i mentioned before with having too little curls in the front or sometimes too much lol. and every curly girl knows that every day is a different day for your hair. it’s never the same. some days my bangs had me looking absolutely nuts (but i still got compliments somehow lool). and i’m also finding that i like to wear my hair parted in the middle.. i’m going to try working with a curtain bang instead and see what happens!
at the end of the day who cares cuz it’s just hair and it grows back! 🙏🏽☺️
Don't be afraid to cut your hair at home lol
Definitely not 3C. 3B at most
Look I'ma just mind my African American biz, cause the girls are def trying it
The finished hairstyle reminds me of Mother Gothel from Tangled 😆
her hair is NOT 3C 😂😂 who is working at R29?! y’all have lost your minds.
so exactly is 3c hair, since eveyone keeps commenting on her hair. And why is it such a big deal ??
Sorry I don't think it opens her face up. I'm glad she likes it.
...This isn't "3B" and damn-sure not 3C. I don't even like curl typing, but I have 3C hair.
Her haircut looks like she is from an 80s rock band
My hair is 4a.... her hair is most definitely not 3c... this is so sad.... it's more like a 3a.... not even 3b territory. Park Chaeso is 3b (but claims but be 3c but at least she's only off by one).
This is 3b/3c. Not 3a. If you think this is 3a you have never seen 3a hair.
2c
There’s no way 2c. I’m half black and I’m 3c and hers is pretty close to mine. I would say 3b
Girl what?? Type 2 hair is wavy, hers is definitely curly. Maybe not 3c curly, but 3b is close
First her hair isn’t not 3c. Secondly everyone with curls that have texture other than silk strand’s knows if you touch let alone try separate when it’s not 100% all your going to get is frizz or fro. See the problem is NOT you highlighting this young ladies hair nor how they achieve her looks it’s that your entire team couldn’t be bothered enough to take the time out to do their research let alone talk to women with actual 3c even a simple google search before posting. This is why so many women feel disrespected, left out and over looked. Thanks for nothing
You're absolutely right..... Good afternoon tb how are you doing over there hope you're having a wonderful day it's a lovely day that the lord has made.
Def not 3C, but aiight.
Not people getting offended bc a white girl has curly hair lol
People aren't offended by her curly hair (everyone knows white people can have curls). The argument is if her hair is 3C or not. I say no because 3c curls aren't this loose, but that's my opinion.
Anna, your racism is showing.
@@starzzzy22 don’t explain yourself to a racist. she knows why
@@ToriUptown Child sit down please
@Anna F anybody can have curly hair. But one thing yt people CAN'T have is type 4 hair. That belongs to black people, since you wanna bring race into it. Y'all can have the other numbers. Lmaooo
……3C???
yes :)
More like 2c
Just because it’s blown out doesn’t make it 3c 3b 💀
Looks bad. The bangs are cut too far back.
3c 🤨??? More like 3a/b
I love her hair but, don't think I care for the bangs...they seem dated , I guess
Your hair is not 3c, your curl is looser.
Well, that was a bad idea.
She could have did this at home!! 😂 and she is definitely not 3c 🙄
"Cutting curly hair, it's much different than the 'average' person!?!" 🤮🤡
Yeah, that was the statement that would have made me get up from that chair and head on out the door… 😂
3C? The *gentrification* of hair ascends another step...Officially unsubscribing
Not only is her hair nowhere past 3A, But the finished look does not suit her. Her face is too round for that hairstyle and those type of bangs.
