Seen a few launch videos of Trottie with various people lately, and he doesn't shut up long enough to let anyone give an actual opinion on the clubs. Overall I like him, but man does he sound like a guy trying to shove this year's product down people's throats.
Big taylormade fan here ! But Trottie trying to sell the shit out of the 3 wood just like he did on the driver .. this is what happens when u come out with a new one each year ! Feel that pressure !
I unwrapped my fitting kit last night and stayed an hour and a half late to play with my new toys. OMG 😮 the plus 3 wood is a proper players monster bombing shiny beauty. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Really hope the lads do a head to head of OG Steath+ v Stealth+ 2. As Ian has said in many videos, OG Stealth+ was by far the most popular FW at TXG last year. Said it wasn’t a fair fight and blew everything away. Is this really better?!?!🤯
He sounds more negative now than ever. “Have to let the confidence grow”. I thought that comment was strangely placed. Visiting companies and testing equipment in front of them gets more awkward each year.
These TM vids make me appreciate the Cobra rep more and more. Love the content here in general but one series of releases feels like a conversation about cool new stuff. Then this guy feels like IM TELLING YOU THIS IS THE COOLEST NEW STUFF BUY NOW!!!!!!!!
hope it comes with a brush, imagine how much crud is going to be in that weight port. Also would like to see it hit in the wet, muddy rough. This may be more of a shovel for us that play in wetter conditions.
I do want to play a 67,000 yard golf course someday. I’m hoping the golf cart is fully charged with charging stations around the 6th & 12th holes and a motel around the 9th…)))😂😂😂 sorry couldn’t resist. You guys are the best!!!
@@bmos212 like I said 100% it’s his job. However, every other manufacturer they did this with, it seems that the majority of people were able to focus on the product and not distracted by salesman behaviors
I demoed this yesterday. I loved it. I loved the stock shaft too. Exactly what I was looking for. I want to try Paradym before making my decision. Great club
Perfect video since I just got my TM Stealth 2 Plus, 3 and 5 wood. I am always bad with 3 wood but this one is very nice somehow performing better than Qi10 while trying out. Now I am hitting 3 and 5 wood almost the same yardage. Do you have any advice for my 3 wood settings???
Probably cool for you guys to go to these centers/hq's but I definitely prefer when you test the clubs in the studio. Don't care for the constant pitching for the product. Felt like Trottie was getting a bit defensive and just constantly making a pitch for the product
The Taylormade loft sleeve changes the face angle so dropping loft will open the face. I think cobra and callaway are the ones that have sleeves that don’t alter face angle.
@@c0rndog748 yea I hate opening and closing the face I just wanna play square to square sure it’s nice for slicers or hookers but for people they can play a little it doesn’t help much.
Trottie doesn't work in R&D so no his job does not depend on it. He literally works wit hthe best players in the world and of all time. His job is to make them happy
So glad you guys gave this its own video. Unbelievable amount of adjustability. Would love to see if you can dial it in even more back at the studio, maybe playing with different shafts in combination with weight/sleeve adjustments. Either way, I'm very interested in trying this myself. I have the Stealth 2 and it's awesome but might as well be a mini driver in most settings.
Love Trottie, but maybe he was a little too much in this video. The guys said it was a good club and it’s meant to be adjusted, so I’m not sure what he was talking about. I agree he was a little defensive.
I don’t love the “this is the club for today”. Have never like changing the club due to the conditions. I would rather have a club that I am more comfortable hitting the shot into the wind
Great video 👍 The new Stealth 3 wood a game changer. I still use my Sim2 Rocket 13.5 3 wood and it's a beast. The new Stealth 2.0 diver look awesome too. Might as well go test it out. Honestly I think Taylor Made have done so much to improve their brand with brake through technology. I have try playing different brand and tested so many others brand before and Taylor Made has that open field that fit for all players.
This does seem like a very versatile fairway option. Loft, lie, and pretty large CoG movement fore/aft. This could be anything from a open faced low-spin rocket 2.5-wood. Or a closed face, upright, higher spinning 4-wood.
When you buy an adjustable club now you don't get given a wrench. Good luck changing the setup for the course you're playing without a wrench. Without the wrench I won't be a buyer.
Trottie may be a nice guy, but did he just lecture Mattie and Ian and during product launch? Classy way to diffuse the situation by Ian.
He sounds like a used car salesman.
Well...he has imbibed the TM Koolaid

Hahaha, just what I thought

Demo'd this today..... that 50g weight is legit, 30ft difference in peak height. Love the club, trying to wrap my head around the $450 price
Can’t wait for a studio test on this… without a rep falling all over himself because there’s a moveable weight. 😂
I unwrapped my fitting kit last night and stayed an hour and a half late to play with my new toys. OMG 😮 the plus 3 wood is a proper players monster bombing shiny beauty. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Love the idea of this, especially in a 5 wood, but at $450!? Absolutely absurd price point for a fairway wood.
Time flies, wait 6-8 months for it to be discounted. No need to buy new releases, wait for sale
why? There's $5k irons. No one makes you buy it.
Ping said “hold my beer” with their $550 G430 LST. Both price points are absurd.
2nd Swing Golf. Walked in and picked one up for $300. Put it on my shaft. Best 3 wood I've owned.
Used to love Trottie, but he sounds worse than a used car salesman these days. Wunder is heading that way as well which is a bummer.
He's an absolute pellet
Insufferable
Same. Never been much of a fan of his. I get it, his job is to sell but you get a lot of blah on his videos
He sounds more negative now than ever. “Have to let the confidence grow”. I thought that comment was strangely placed. Visiting companies and testing equipment in front of them gets more awkward each year.
Excited for this one been using M5 5 wood as a 4 wood. I think this in a 5 wood on lower weight forward is going to be awesome!
This TM rep loves to hear himself talk. It’s pretty annoying
As someone that needs 3 wedges this is really exciting for the top of bag conundrum I often have
Out of all the new releases, this weight track was the one that raise my eyebrows most.
Trottie took that personally 😆 good review guys.
hope it comes with a brush, imagine how much crud is going to be in that weight port. Also would like to see it hit in the wet, muddy rough. This may be more of a shovel for us that play in wetter conditions.

Not a fan of the obvious constant marketing from trottie. Let the club speak for itself.
Trottie is a TM rep, his job is to be frequently speaking on marketing key points.
This is a TM preview, not a specific fitting video. But his job is to promote TM product.
@@bmos212 like I said 100% it’s his job. However, every other manufacturer they did this with, it seems that the majority of people were able to focus on the product and not distracted by salesman behaviors
Agreed. Love Trottie, but he was super aggressive and borderline defensive in this video.
it’s the channels fault for giving him the platform
Wish TM would release a 16.5 head in the plus fairway head.
Me too!!
Would love to see Trottie on QVC banging these out at a "special" price of $399... I'd probably buy 2 😳
This is literally the first 3 wood i actually want to go test. Never been to a 3 wood fitting but I may have to schedule one now
I hit it today, I have sim 2 TI and loved this club was just fun.
genuinely very excited about this club and trying it for my bag
Am I thinking on a windy day you could move the weight forward less spin and vice versa?
being able to move weight on that axis is something i have not seen. it's a really attractive selling point for weekend warriors like myself.
I demoed this yesterday. I loved it. I loved the stock shaft too. Exactly what I was looking for. I want to try Paradym before making my decision. Great club
A 67,000 yard golf course would be one heck of a test 🤣
It looks like TM decided to make their version of the TEE C722 based off of this and your test last year vs Stealth plus?
Trottie is trying to sell the shit out of this club 🤣
Perfect video since I just got my TM Stealth 2 Plus, 3 and 5 wood. I am always bad with 3 wood but this one is very nice somehow performing better than Qi10 while trying out. Now I am hitting 3 and 5 wood almost the same yardage. Do you have any advice for my 3 wood settings???
I got my current driver numbers with the 2 + 3W. I couldn't not order it
Wish they'd reduced the lie angle on the fairway too.
Probably cool for you guys to go to these centers/hq's but I definitely prefer when you test the clubs in the studio. Don't care for the constant pitching for the product. Felt like Trottie was getting a bit defensive and just constantly making a pitch for the product
Not sure but feel like you guys are a bit more comfortable talking about the cons of the product not on the company grounds in front of the reps
Help - is this a 3W or 5W we are looking at? I game the Stealth+, and looking to move today to the Stealth2+
Just poking fun, but pretty certain no one plays a 67,000 yard golf course 😉. Also, Ian loves these trips because he towers over the TM staff 😝
🤣🤣, finally, someone I’m taller than!!
Missed potential in this clip.. Why didn't we see same shaft, weight front and then weight back? Also wrong shaft tag in the beginning, not TR Red..
CAn this three 3 go up and down 2 degrees ? While staying square ?! (Idk where I heard this but now I’m hoping it’s true)
CAn this 3 wood move up and down 2 degrees staying “square” ? **

Whenever Trottie is in the video I feel like I'm being sold a used car.
Great work on the testing lads, but yeah Trottie really needs to quiet down, super annoying salesman vibe, not interested in hearing from him at all.
Trottie talking like his job depends on the success of the clubs….oh wait
Trottie doesn't work in R&D so no his job does not depend on it. He literally works wit hthe best players in the world and of all time. His job is to make them happy
This is a very interesting club!
Imagine playing that in muddy conditions. It's a club designed for Californian and Floridian courses.
Trottie becoming a used car salesman more everyday

Nice to see a 3w that spins mid 3000 and that sounded phenomenal! Too many low spin 3w drivers out there
A 67,000 yard course?!? You’ll need that 3w a lot!!
Love Trottie, but maybe he was a little too much in this video. The guys said it was a good club and it’s meant to be adjusted, so I’m not sure what he was talking about. I agree he was a little defensive.
Out of all the Reviews they are doing, I want to see what they end up playing this 2023 year.
This video was not made recently in southern UK …this club is going to be a great product ……just the weather to break. 😢😢
I don’t love the “this is the club for today”. Have never like changing the club due to the conditions. I would rather have a club that I am more comfortable hitting the shot into the wind
That’s nice looking club. Trottie makes me not want to buy it
I'd believe Trottie's role as a Taylormade youtube influencer has actively harmed sales.
Gotta give our boy a level lie. I’d be hanging them out left too from that hanger! 😅
Great video 👍

TM needs to flatten the lie angle on their fwy woods
This is a poor review! Was excited about this club. Looking forward to a studio review. The boy from Taylor made was very techie
Personally I don’t want that much adjustability. My XR 3Deep (2015) with bonded hosel and no weights has outperformed all the new stuff.
Yikes 😬 it’s like Trottie is refusing to accept that it just wasn’t the right product or setup for him and it just made TM look bad…
This does seem like a very versatile fairway option. Loft, lie, and pretty large CoG movement fore/aft. This could be anything from a open faced low-spin rocket 2.5-wood. Or a closed face, upright, higher spinning 4-wood.
like many have said, the TM guy kinda made this hard to watch ...incessant car salesman talk non stop
100% this club isn’t going into Matty’s bag
Trottie needs to stick to building the pros clubs.
I'm not sure I share the excitement for a movable weight. It's cool for sure, but Im going to set that thing and never look at it again.
The bias is very transparent when you pin this “review” next to the Paradym fairway wood video.
I love Trottie, but he needs to chill out. Stop being so defensive
these prices are getting out of hand... 400+ bucks for a fairway wood is insane.
Trottie repping the company a little too hard and hijacking the show. He went corporate y’all…
Taylormade a little over sensitive over nothing, first time I see him like that maybe he just had a bad day
No one is playing a 67,000 yard course trottie😂😂
yeah they can keep this one lol.
Solidified that TM is just marketing, I always want to like Taylormade, but honestly, this clown (trottie) ruined it.
I hate those front to back sliding weights!
Trottie is one of the few people I like less over time. Constant drivel. Every year.
All the hypercritical talk from Trottie seems a bit hypersensitive to me lol...
Love trottie! Talks a good product
Trottie is really annoying - simmer down
Wtf happened Trott, take a chill pill bro
Drinking game take a shot every time they mispronounce garage

What have I been selected for?
