With only a platform, a shuttle, packagers for the (trade) platform, the snails, and terrain tool, I say you can theoretically beat every planet without Hardness 3 soil (meaning no Atrox or Glacio). You will need a farm though, so go get those mutant seeds, and PLANT them. If you get lucky with other Astroneers' drops and Usagi, you could bring in a Trade Platform, get some Bytes through research samples on either Hard planet, some Hydrazine from Astronium from the Platform, some Graphite to make 5 Graphene (2 for Glacio, 1 for Vesania, 2 for the Drill Mod 3), and a Printer, you can get an Atmospheric Condenser to beat Atrox. (And Glacio too.)
I Must say though, as soon as you find hissbane you can make a farm out of it since mutants become harmless flora when planted! Hell! All of the plants that the snails love are Mutants plants. Each of these plants drop 2 or 3 seeds when harvested

Usagi is pretty helpful, actually. I’ve located 2 wrecked solar arrays with this little boy. Also he is very useful during chess figures search on desolo.
You can put a seed on the terrarium so that he always eats the moment he's hungry. Just double plant everyone and when someone gets hungry sit and farm for a couple minutes. It's basically free slots.

You should not use stuff if you have a snail that does the same thing.. so vehicles and turbines are fine ... 3 and 4 you can go through missions, you are just not allowed to use things that snails can do... For example drills are not allowed. Shuttles are fine 😊
Challenge Idea: only move on a vehicle (the different Vehicles would also be different difficulties with different problems you could be facing) (you can also say that you can only use the platforms of the Vehicle)

Thanks for this beautiful video, This video gave me an interesting idea. I removed the worklight, drill mod 3 and wide mod. Bestefar does both drill Mod 2 and wide mod to. I checked it on all the planets that it can not dig except for the last layer Glacio and almost all the layers Atrox. Sylvie is better than a worklamp. Princess I also checked, with all the dangerous plants, whether those that explode or hit or are prickly or poisonous are one hundred percent safe against all of them. I have now removed 9 devices from my backpack and instead have these three and Stilgar and Rogal to generate energy and oxygen. Now 4 room have been released more than me and complete safety has been added to my facilities.
Yeah for that you might need more power... In the challenge, whenever you cannot physically do something with a snail, you are allowed to use another item 🐌😊🚂

I believe the latest hotfix had something to solve the issue but I haven't checked .... Did you install the Hotfix and did you check if it was fixed in your case?

Challenge galatropod/snails use only galatropod you can use rockets you find a way to make the rules on that but you need to compleat astroneer with only galatropod to activate. All of the planets cores if you try it then i can only say on thing good Fing luck kuya games

You would need to get lucky with Trade Platform materials. You can't get Hydrazine, but you can Trade Platform it into existence, so it may be possible.
Nice drone. Shame you only have it in creative mode. This is not about the Mickley mouse joke you can see it on your backpack. This means you used it to get yourself the snails but you didn't use it for the challenge so that's okay.
Yeah I had to repeat some of the challenge in creative because of the nice shots you can take with the drone.. I hope they drop it in adventure as well
