@@JamieHarding5 yeah I agree everyone just flocks to pen y fan, Skirrid or sugarloaf when there are hundreds of others to explore. I reckon 90% of Brecon Beacons hills and mountains you’ll hardly see anyone all day and that’s such an amazing thing , huge advantage over places like the Lake District and helps give a bit of wilderness feel at times

A bit of a chilly start to the day with that overnight frost, early start too. Those blue skies though make the effort worth while. There might not be much left of the castle but there are some storming views and even more so as you got up higher. Those frosty tops must have been a bit raw with the wind. As you say though a cracking walk but I think I would prefer a little bit more warmth. Really getting soft in my old age.
Hiya Ivor. It's a beautiful mountain. Not many go there, it's crazy! Everyone goes straight up Pen y Fan and many have never been here. I'm a sun man😁 I love the sun and get down after a few months of no leaves on the trees. The best thing for me about winter walks is it's so quiet. You can have it pretty much to yourself. I like that. I was up the Malvern Hills Friday, thought it was beautiful. So many in England I'm hoping to see. Thanks mate👍
Me too😂 I had some trouble with it. It landed really fast on it's own. Put me off trying it again yesterday. I've only used it twice. I need to practice with it. Lost two tiny little microphones also yesterday. 🤦🏻😁 I was having a bad day with tech. I'll get there in the end. Thank you very much though.👍
