    What a wholesome young gentleman you are Alex. Thank you for the inspiration and the guides on these jewels in the Peak District. I have followed in your footsteps on some of the routes that you have recommended, made all the easier thanks to your cinematography and way points. I shall add this route to my itinerary. Keep up the great work. Brilliant!

    Great weather for it. We were there in late December, and it was the muddiest route we've ever been on, loads of rain, strong winds and slip-sliding all the way up and down !

    Alex! That was an amazing introduction with top notch footage. What a day, with amazing weather. What a wonderful place with those amazing hills that I have long wanted to get around to tackling (June is definitely going to include them) and a pretty decent scramble as well. Stunning views, the more I explore the White Peak, the more I love about it. You have filmed this brilliantly and your love of this area in particular is very evident 👍 And, as you would expect me to say Alex 😁 that piano music as you go up Chrome Hill, you couldn’t have chosen better. I might have to sit at the piano in a moment and work that out by ear! Wonderful! Fab video mate 👌

      @alexcripps.outdoors  2 года назад

      Thank you so much Greg! Couldn’t have asked for better weather! You’ll definitely have to get there when you’re up in June. Yes the White Peak has grown on me a lot over the past year, so many different walks to do and this one in particular is right near the top of my list for the whole of the Peaks! Glad you enjoyed the music again 😁 Thank you so much for the kind words Greg, really appreciate your support as always!! Cheers Greg! 😁👍👍

    Alex - just stumbled on your channel and seen this...
    Great to see someone young for a change rather than old wrinklies like me (I'm 65) out in our glorious Peak District - your photography angles are excellent and unlike that other commentator who doesn't like seeing you retrace your steps, it's good that you take the time and trouble to film yourself when solo because that's really important when trying to attract your own generation.
    10/10 - keep going, don't let anyone put you off 👍
    Brilliant.

    That Chimney scramble up Parkhouse needs a bloody warning on it! Much harder than I expected and real slippy with loose soil/rocks. Definitely not for the faint of heart and harder than most of the other Grade 1's in the Peaks.
