Meshuggah are one of my favorite bands. I’m 59 and I used to be a professional sound technician and was a volunteer sound tech at SCUM in Holland. I probably went to 2000 concerts and 100 festivals in my life and performed with bands about 250 times but when I see this epileptic light show I know I can’t go to gigs anymore. The volume I can handle but the lights are just too bright and to flashing. Also it used to be a golden rule that the stage lights don’t “hit” the people in the crowd but nowadays that’s not a problem anymore I guess. Just flash away! It’s just the way it is… but nit for me anymore. Gene Simmons used to say:”When it’s too loud you’re too old” for me it would sound more like “if it’s too bright you’re too old” hahaha 😂 Greetings from Holland 🇱🇺
