i still can't believe how much i love meshuggah. no other music on earth hits me like theirs
amen
Same 🖤🤘
The very same 🤙
Personally Meshuggah changed my entire understanding of heavy music. Both in writing creativity, and just what it is that makes a listener feel. Controlling space, and that somewhat mesmerizing, repeating off tempo that just really warps perception of time. I'm grateful for all that Meshuggah gave us. Literally, there are currently bands and genres that wouldn't even exist without their influence. From the heart, I love Meshuggah, those guys are all awesome people whom I revere as songwriters. ❤
Cant wait for another album. 🤩
I second that! 👍
probably another 4 years before you see that
Now that Fredrik is back I wouldn't be surprised if they released something kinda like I. Maybe some unused Special Defects riffs or something.
They don't owe us another album. They have delivered so much and nearly all of it has been perfect since Nothing. Let's just be thankful we got Immutable!
NOTHING?? youre gonna leave Chaosphere out of that statement??@@GodsNode
He is the backbone of Meshuggah and if he does release a solo album I think it would further evolve the genre.
Agreed. He wrote almost 100% of my favorite Mesuggah songs. Guy is a metal god.
Oh, definitely. I’ve been saying to anyone who listens for years that Mårten’s hard drives are filled with amazing music. In particular his slower, more ethereal stuff would make a great album. And then there’s the heavy stuff. He’s written basically 75% of the classic songs from the catalogue and never, ever gets the same respect as Fredrik - so here I am, doing my bit to say he is FUCKING AMAZING.
I like Fred's stuff the best
@@mattwhite399 which ones are those? :)
@@Aaron-sl9ov Some popular ones include Straws Pulled at Random, Pravus, Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion, Obzen, Demiurge, and Born In Dissonance. They list their songwriting credits in their album notes. Martin has written more songs than any other member since Chaosphere (including Chaosphere).
I’m not looking to take anything away from Frederick - guy is a metal god. I just want to be sure that Martin gets the credit he deserves.
Don't forget to tune the volume down before the video ends, you're gonna thank me.
Saw your comment just in time. 😅
Godsend friend
thx but too late 😵
If mårten releases a solo album i’ll be so happy
Immutable is basically that. He wrote most of the riffs.
Me too man, he doesn't get enough credit for how amazing he is.
They were phenomenal on Saturday. Always one of the best live bands and they are showing no signs of slowing down.
Except for playing Future Breed Machine about 15% slower lol. Agreed that they still played phenomenally and the pit was great
It would be damn amazing if Marten released sort of a solo album of all his mellow stuff, material like Past tense, The last vigil, the intro of They move below, etc etc. I wouldnt mind if this was also done as Meshuggah. Great band. Great man. Let's hope we'll have another album sometime.
I’ve heard a lot of what he has done, all those mellow songs that never gets released. I’ve been nagging on him to release them, for ages. It’s so good. Hope he does. Guys is brilliant.
That's so funny that they laugh about the programmed drums meme, Tomas is literally THE origin point of this meme.
one of the most humble people I ever met \m/
I love how he said "we won't be doing this for 30 years" when they pretty much already have! The "None" EP came out in 1994
and their first release was 1989, with their first Nuclear Blast "Contradictions Collapse" being released in 91. Truly ahead of their time.
i thought the same thing... maybe he meant another 30 years. if we get them for another 10 years i'll be happy.
Fan va grym du är Mårten! Längtar tills nästa konsert!!
Living Gods..
Hail mesuggha🔱🔱
Can't wait for the next release!!
Best band in the world! ❤
Undisputed
Immutable is fuckin HEAVY, respect to Meshuggah!
I LOVE THESEE INTERVERIEWS
A Metal Legend!
Other people: Okay
Marten: Eauquay
Bog Studios be like "OK. I ll make Meshuggah ver. of Reign in Blood!!".
I love Mårten. Mr.shuggah.
At Brutal assault they killed it
And we were, like, "Ok!"
Solo album confirmed, nice!
Best Band.
I think they were like okay 😂
woah woah woah, Jens released Calipash stuff? Rerecordings apparently, i'm gonna need this to be true. Marten said he released it, but maybe he misspoke and meant will release, because i have looked around and don't see any new releases from Calipash.
sucks there is no live stream of bloodstock festival like wacken and hellfest
Yeah it sucks
ruclips.net/video/fzVBc3cHzI8/видео.html I was front row managed to get a couple of clips
Yeah but they usually post the full sets in great quality.
They posted it
I wonder if Fred leaving to work on solo stuff created a discord between them. Felt like there was a lot of pressure on Marten this album
I don’t think so. Even though he’s says “like me and Thomas used to do”, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they get back to it for the next album (as Fred basically sat out Immutable anyway).
That said, I could definitely be wrong and they keep going like Mårten describes. But as long as they keep going - and want to - then I’ll take what I’ll get.
Hopefully Fred stays back.
I honestly don't think so, Marten, Dick and Tomas have been writing most Meshuggah material since i think Obzen anyway. Fredrik didnt go off to work on solo stuff btw, it was to work on his studio (which ultimately going to be a huge benefit to the band anyway)
Mårten: release it. Just do it. Stop teasing us. It will sell like discount illegal drugs - fast.
Or get together with Fred (since he just said himself recently all he’s done for SNW2 sucks anyway) and get a Hagström/Thordendal instrumental album out there.
What did Fred say about snw2?
@behindthen0thing525 he's said in replies to instagram comments that he's been trying to write new solo stuff for an album for a long time, but to him it all sucks. Most fans would massively disagree obviously, but at the end of the day an artist has to create for themselves before anyone else.
