      The more of him I watch and listen to, the more I’m convinced he’s one of the greatest vocalists out there. I’m also convinced that he may actually have the hardest job up on that stage. The vocal phrasing and the way he syncopates up there, all while producing some of the most kind bending screams I’ve ever heard… he’s pushing himself to the limit. Super impressive to watch. I’m a drummer. I almost never say that about the guys holding the microphones.

    The intro of Stengah always makes me so crazy. Like in Rational Gaze, Perpetual Black Second, Closed Eye Visuals, Straws Pulled at Random and Spasm. "Nothing" is definitely my favorite Meshuggah album. And is so f*ckin' good to see the band, especially Fredrik, going WILD with the FILTH GROOVE of "Stengah", it's impossible to contain yourself listening to that!!!

    Seeing the lyrics of these songs really makes it even more impressive for me.
    The lyrical rhythm in Stengah alone is so spastic, it must take a lot of practise to get it right. And when Frederik starts head banging at the beginning of Stengah it immediately becomes the most badass metal video ever

      BananaSlayer64 I saw them in Nashville last month. fucking awesome. didn't like the opening band at all though. The mosh pit went throughout their whole performance. felt like I got hit my a truck for three days after

    This is one of the only bands I've seen where their live performances are just as good as, if not better than, the studio releases. I think the only other one I can think of is Gojira.

      Ive seen TOOL live and they do a really incredible job. All their members are masters of their craft and they have some of the best lighting effects ive seen. but nothing tops this.

      Texan American I do say that at every show I go to. Because they are mostly death metal shows, ppl there understand that Pantera is whiny preteen music for those that can't handle real metal aggression and speed.

    Was such a great time to hear something new. I’ll never forget when Nothing was released, having been a fan since DEI. It was like hearing a fourth dimension in a world with only three.
    And to see just how far they have taken it all - especially the live lighting experience - it’s legendary.
    The 2022 revisit proves to me that this era is just so timeless and relevant still.
