He made the most mistakes out of all the title contenders like squeezing Button too hard in this race and ending up in a spin, Jump starting in China, crashing at Monaco in FP3 and missing qualifying because of it, messing up his qualifying lap at Turkey and hence fails to get into Q3, overtaking Kubica off track in Silverstone and failing to yield position which results in a drive through so he ultimately fails to score points, and having a poor start and ultimately not being able to overtake PETROV in Abu Dhabi. That's not mentioning the fact that he was gifted three wins (Bahrain, Germany, Korea). Enough. He didn't even remotely deserve the title that year.
