If I had only listened to you sooner I would have been months ahead. Thank you for your in-depth explanations. You have helped me so much. I just had to sit down and listen, You covered everything.
Thanks so much for the no drama presentation. I’ve been using LR mobile for years but upgraded my gear so decided it was time to get back into LR Classic. You covered everything I was wondering about!
Hello, thank you very much for the information. One question, finally, which preview do you recommend, without slowing down the machine or losing quality for smooth editing? Standard or 1:1? Should I remove the "Create smart previews" option? Since I saw that you disabled it. Thanks. One last question, when I insert an SD memory into my laptop, then move those photos to a folder on my internal disk, is it correct to import those photos that I placed in that folder to the LrC program, right? in order to edit them.
Newbie here! Thank you! Import question: If I upload a bigger file (dimensions and/or pixels) of the same photo - Lightroom won't import and replace the smaller file? It just says "already imported" and then I am stuck with the lower res?
Great tutorial, I'm not a LR user very much, as I use PS most of the time, but from time to time I need to edit in LR for quickness & don't need to do a lot of edits . I really enjoyed how well you explain everything, & I definitely want to check out your next video on ORGANIZING. I messed up my LR files a while back & oh boy " It's a hot mess " 🤣
Great tutorial. At the 'renaming file' section you mention that you first choose the 'keepers', delete the others from your computer and then you rename the kept files. I'd like to understand, you choose the 'keepers' on Lightroom [LR] that means that you imported the photos to LR and can delete the files you want from LR catalog, now how do you choose the same files to delete on your computer.
I have a ton of jpegs that I'm looking at converting to dng (via topaz converter). Have you used this tool. Or can you give any feedback on the pros & cons of doing this?

I don't know of any advantage of converting jpg to dng. I use to convert raw to dng but the benefits weren't worth it.
I would like to learn more of DNG file.
