@@ZRHTrainspotter Though the MP89's (MP89-CA for automated) are disappearing from M14 in favor of the shiny new MP14's in 8-car consists.
They are recycled on line M4 that has been recently converted to full automation.
And previous driver cabin equipped MP89's (MP89-CC) from line M4 are recycled on line M6, ousting the venerable the MP73's that are retired.
Soon the MP89's (CA and CC versions) will be the oldest type in the rubber tyred fleet.

@@ZRHTrainspotter Only a few months to wait before the first openings : M11's East Extension in Spring (March is announced), then line M14's large South extension to Orly airport and short North extension to the GPE hub in June 2024, one month before the Olympics.
The first phase of RER E West extension is set to open next year too, presumably before the Olympics, up to La Défense and possibly also to Nanterre la Folie.
Then in 2025 it's the South section of the all new M15 line that is set to open and supposedly Cable C1, the first urban gondola in Paris area, extending from the Southeastern terminus of line M8 to a neighborhood with poor transit.
Cable C1 is a Doppelmayr 10-MGD (TCD10) that will have 10-seat Omega V cabins serving 5 stations along a 4.5km line at a speed between 4 and 5 meters per second. The entire line should take 18 minutes and is expected to carry more than 12K riders per day.
Then every year something new will open untill at least 2030.
The new tram line T12 is expected to open in December (2023) and replace the most complicated branch of RER C.
Tram line T3b's extension to Porte Dauphine is expected to open in April 2024.
While the new tram line T10 opened a couple months ago.
It literally is transit-a-palooza in Paris until 2030 : 360 kilometers of new metro & tram lines and extensions, new gondola and new proper BRT lines, it's huge !
Living almost above M11, I can't wait for my home line to open its extension, doubling its length.
The new MP14-CC trains (in 5-car version) have entered service on M11 this summer, replacing the old MP59 in 4-car consists.
MP14's are fantastic but I had a nostalgic tear in my eye while taking the iconic MP59, the train of my childhood, for a last ride.
Those new MP14's accelerate like rockets...
If you need footage, just ask!
You should come visit every year, with new stuff more often than a theme park ! 🤣
