I was suicidal for many years since I was six years old.....(too much to tell) In and out of hospital for suicide.....When I gave my life to JESUS.....everything changed.... I came to CHRIST when I read Daniel Chapter 3... I was delivered from suicide . It is now nearly 40 years and I am following JESUS. Praise GOD !❤❤❤
That is real. I called two different church prayer lines for prayer for my cousins husband, he lived longer but I got some of the prayer two. I never felt that feeling go through my body before. My shoulder was healed and I didn't have to have operation. I praise God always.

This is SO true and exactly what has happened and is going on now. I so much wish people would wake up to the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to depend so much on ourselves, and we will LOSE if we do that. I am old and infirm, weak and feeble, yet I am at my strongest with the Holy Spirit. It is amazing.
"...only God can lead us to the solutions for what ails us". YES, and Amen. A word of caution lest we slide from one error into another...the excesses of the "pentecostal" movement are also real and documented and to maintain biblical accuracy is essential. The Holy Spirit is THE source of godly wisdom as well as power, to not cling and adhere to that is what leads to error in the church today.
I mentioned to former custodians 20 years ago that we would be able to speak with each other over our phones , they said I was crazy but I said I read knowledge from network magazines and it just made sense from a biblical POV also.

God will never give up on us. The people who are out there saying and doing horrible things need our help. The Whoopis, the joys, etc, need our prayers. It's too easy to fight with them. They should understand God loves them, they need to ask Him what they should do. We aren't about holding grudges. We are about acceptance and love. The only people I can't forgive are those who hurt the children.
I couldn’t agree more! Pray for your enemies no matter how much they don’t deserve it. God is about love and acceptance. The church needs to rise up! Prayers make a difference. Those who hurt children however I have a hard time forgiving as well.
Eric has a way when he articulates his conviction’s, that makes it seem that he’s telling you something, that’s not just expressing his faith, but what he’s experienced and knows to be true. And when someone experiences something that is so profound that it takes little if any faith, it can cause confident and bold speech, that you wouldn’t necessarily have had no matter how solid your faith. And then couple that with the Holy Spirits help, and your words become powerful.

I think all the doctrines (cessationism, etc) that lead us away from the plan truth of Scripture comes from heaping up teachers of false doctrines that make Christianity an easy religion. I'm sure John Calvin was a smart guy, but that whole TULIP thing is trash. We have free will and following Christ, enduring to the end, is part of the salvation message.
All talk and no action? Can we try? If it is upon every Christian to spread the gospel, then how does one do so when they are not public speakers, nor preachers nor a gospel singer? What if there has to be a way to spread the gospel without saying a word or being able to sing, your voice isn't something anyone wants to hear, but your duty is still before you? What are many of us to do to help our family, our community, our country? With each of these Techniques there are words added to the gospel. So what if we can spread just the gospel, nothing added? It doesn't matter if you do as Jesus says and preach,or how God teaches and plant a seed. What if those who make quilts can put a prayer or the Sermon on the Mount in the quilt, giving whoever receives it a covering in the voice of Jesus? Or a hatband with the Ten Commandments in it to allow someone to wear the very voice of The Father? If one is sick can we give them a prayer in a gift and pray with them? What if each of us worked together to spread the gospel and STOP with the downing of the way other Christians do their best to help us all? We have forgotten God in our deeds. By binding The Word, as God describes in Deut. 6:8-9, any part of it, placing it in gifts and spreading the charity, God blessed each of us and gave us an abundance of things we no longer need or want and give with The Word added as a gift to another who has needs or wants? Plant the seed of God's Word. Why can't we as Christians spread the gospel the only way we know how and be accepted by other Christians? We are one in our Lord Jesus Christ and some of us are not those who can speak or sing. There is more to the Body of Christ than just a mouth. What? Are we all talk and no action?
