Very nicely done. That workload was no joke, you did a great job staying ahead of the whole process. Also a great demo of the fact that the're generally no rush to check in when it's busy. They'll call you when it's time, they know you're out there. Way to sit tight and relax! I just feel bad for the cholesterol levels for the ops and tower team.....with...all.....that.....butter.
Nonstop flight.. in more ways than one. That final tracon controller definitely earned his next coffee. Ops mentioned about doing it all on overnight shifts, there would be like 100 breaks in the runway.. That's what they were forced to do at SAN. No other runway and no other place for the airlines. It was X'd off nightly, midnight to 5AM, and took quite a while to cover that 9400'
Wow the radio traffic was busy. Its a wonderfully they could keep everybody separated! NY Approach is the best!!
That was intense. GREAT JOB controllers and MAX.

The word was out, you can all come home but not all at the same time. As a retired approach controller one of my biggest headaches was RT etiquette and if a controller says shut up then do so. 2 and 3 , you’ll be surprised how often it can be confused over the air. The female tower controller was showing signs of real stress but she salvaged the situation as all good controllers do. Good job and good video.
I remember flying in a cockpit jump seat on board a commercial flight in the 80s to the middle east when the pilot said to me "if you can see another aircrafy in the sky, you are too close". How busier the skies have got these days and how stressful the job of ATC can be huh...!

Great video. I love everything about a local airfield as I was intimately familiar with all those that I flew out of as a pilot and local safety officer. While our planes are awesome, if the airfield isn't right, then getting to your destination becomes a real chore. Doing transatlantic, it was a real joy always to stop in Ireland. They are some of the best in taking care of their airfields even when it is snowing in the dead of winter. Their FBOs are awesome and their people are some of the friendliest I have encountered.

Love the videos and the new Citation, Max, but that piece of equipment you're engaging shortly after takeoff and disengaging shortly before landing is a yaw "damper," not a yaw "dampener." 😉

The new runway is beautiful and should serve Westchester County admirably . It has been officially christened with tire marks and grooving soon to follow. Oh man, this brings back so many good memories! I worked Airport Ops at KHPN from 2004 to 2008. LOVED that airport an area. So nice to see 16/34 looking good! And looks like the old hangars got a little bit of a face lift as well. If OPS_four_seven is on here, do you guys still have the ARFF pit? Also say hi to J-star for me, and tell him the reverend says hi! Max, if you ever fly into ORD again and want a tour of any of our runways let me know, I have been doing Airport OPS here at ORD since 2008. Our ops tower is the Old ATC tower if you want to see that or even the regular ATC tower can be arranged. Love your stuff!

It sounded like you said you passed that plane that was going the other way only 400 feet below him, I thought they try to keep you at least 1000 feet apart. Sure was a busy flight for such a short one. Nice landing Max, take advantage of that smooth runway!!!
