Recently I purchased a TMX SP Heavy Duty that has one major drive wheel in the centre and tw sets of wheels on the front and rear with hydraulics to handle street curbs. Near the end of your recording, I noticed the guy coming down a flight of stairs, only to be stuck with a set of doors and the chair is definitely too big to go through one door, so forget trying to get it into a bathroom!
Notice the stairs it climbs are not your typical stairs. Each step shown in the video is only about 2 or 3 inches high, compared to the normal stairs you'd find in a house or flight of stairs.
The steps at 0:38 are about 6" high. The rule is that it can usually climb steps about 1' shorter than 1/2 of the diameter of its tires so around 6"-7" max height. In any case this chair right now is the best in the world & sells for 10 grand.
As a wheelchair user myself priorites are comfort, reliability, ease of operation (steering, smooth min speed and good top speed), able to fit in taxi cabs and restaurant tables (swing away footrests). The need to climb or descend mostly shallow stairs never crosses my mind especially as there are ramps, drop kerbs and elevators/lifts now. Clearly it has a poor turning circle - 4 big wheels - that doesn't look good. Climbing stairs is a ridiculous USP and a design compromise.
My w. Chair. Has 6 wheels and it CAN'T DO any of those things. I love the idea that the chair is adjusting it SELF front and back , and I love that it's 4 wheel drive. BUT I wish the wheels were a bit bigger, and more apart, and I WISH the chair had lift your back and lift your seat and elevate your legs.

Yeah...I'm sure a lot of electric wheelchairs could go up those stairs with ramps on them. All you have to do is find someone willing to follow you around with a set of ramps! Very Impractical!!!
Or people who are going to need a wheelchair for the rest of their lives, and are thinking about which model to get. I did like this one but decided to be more practical. Like how oten am I going to be climbing over things in a classroom or in the hospital?

I do not understand chair in video can, without falling "nose dive" or backward, climb up or down actual stairs. I have been thrown forward from chair, more than once. I always have "real" feeling of falling backward on steep ramp of bus. Drivers or passengers do not care. Company does not care. Mine is like yours due to steps. I have got electrification in the wheels: l put off my original wheels, then they made a plate of steel fit to my chair and the modified wheels on! Now l can role with 2 fingers and only brakes and drive left or right l must do on my own if l want. Or l drive pushing so easy that l can push a so much longer way. I am a para in Australia to mate and i just got a new power chair threw our welfare and believe me mate they wont give you one off these,unless you have the cash,i have got a mate who loves shooting and he got a chair with tracks like a tank has and it goes anywhere,but again these chairs are big dollars,good luck....
at 2:28 you can see a person going behind holding the chair so it doesn't rush forwards... I wouldn't want my friends in wheelchairs using a product that was unsafe. Need to come up with a better patent than this... the Scalevo chair seems to be better
