First of all, I was very happy with how fast this item was delivered. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxYR69rUVDfF56JHQRldV2uJeXaPA9LTZW It came a day before the listed delivery date, which was super great! I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !

Sweating is a passive process using evaporation. While that is a good method of cooling down in a non-humid environment, it doesn't work when there is humidity. Which is why people can and do get heat strokes. The water cooling in the chair is a proper heat exchange, which works as long as there is electricity (and water for the actual heat exchange). Humid or not.

@@ArdeactMaybe OLD window units, and only when the compressor is running. But the compressor doesn't run all the time. I would be shocked if the 8000 BTU window AC I have in my office averages more than 150w during the day. Plus it cools my entire body and electronics, not just my butt and back.
Granted it is a brand new AC, and I specifically bought it because it was the most efficient model on the market. But unless you have an enormous computer room and are the only person who uses it, I can't see this being remotely more efficient than simply buying a decent window unit.

*Your engineers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should*

I'd be curious to see the change that adding more tubing but on separate loops would do.
Having one long tubing would be able to carry less heat away from the chair.
Adding a normal radiator before the peltier cooler could remove some heat from the water too, but that feels like something that would potentially save only a decimal of a degree...

Go watch Adam Savage's one day build of his personal cooling suit. A personal AC unit with cooling tubes covering his whole body. He was legit getting chills since it was staying at 65-70 F all over his body. Best setup for any cosplay suit.

I mean I'd buy one, this is actually a pretty ingenious idea if they can make it compact enough to market. Like seriously even swapping the water cooled lol nes out with fans like they do I'm a.ced seats in cars would be a game changer. No matter what chair I've owned after long periods of sitting my back and ass get super hot, to the point of almost having to take a break.
