    For an 2004 game, it was extremely ahead time
    The character truly loads the gun

      Yes for real but no cocking animations except in P90 and M3 Benelli

      @@MiTical_OfficialYou can actually see the character manually flick the hammers of the dualies (M9 berettas) down with their fingers at the end of the reload.

    • @uningenious

      Partial credit, at least.

      @@uningenious No need to credit, all of the assets are obviously from Valve

      @@MiTical_Official No, I'm giving valve partial credit for showing the character manually cock the hammers. Although if it was empty, they'd still have to rack the slide, so it's partial credit.

    Back in day, seeing the magazine was actually removed and then put a new one back in third person was mind blowing

    • @RoseSupreme
      @RoseSupreme 25 дней назад

      AFAIK, CS:S was one of the first games to do this. CoD wouldn't start doing this until Black Ops 2.

    I've noticed a tiny but nice detail
    If a CT character picks AK47 , he'll use his shoulder to aim and shoot but if a T character uses AK47 , he'll use his hip to aim and shoot (like Ts are more used to AK than CTs)

      @@Immolator772 yeah, it's a fairly old and unknown one. The devs of that one took part in making CS 1.6 guns afaik, before making Global Operations. For its time (2002) it was probably the most detailed FPS in weapon animations department.
      I also suggest you take a look at Firearms: Source and Firearms: Source 2.0. In my opinion, the most technical animations out there. Not sure how it handled 3rd person animations, but FPS ones are very detailed.

    Actually, for 2004 year game, especially online adrenaline (yes) shooter, where everyone kicks asses each other and you can't look at these details more carefully, animations are good! Yet not enough sound sync, but who cares?

    sometimes i wonder why they didnt add something similar to Half-Life 2, considering it came out days after CS:S, which is surprising since HL2 is valve's biggest IP

    • @PavelKapusta1337
      @PavelKapusta1337 6 месяцев назад

      I mean what's the point of it? In CS:S it makes sense since it's multiplayer game with other players that can see it, and also it can give you a tactical advantage over enemies. But in Half-Life? 100% you play it in first person and there's no multiplayer so there's no point of adding it
