I used to listen to this album. My father worked for JVC and gave me this album as 4 channel original version. I really do like all of the songs in this album. I will tell my family to keep on listening this that will never end.
Bless you my friend, Thank you so much for uploading this, My father used to love Paul Yoder's orchestra and his arrangements a lot. .. LIKED and SUBSCRIBED . . .Once again. . . .THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH. .
Something tells me Yoder was using his own “retouched” versions of those Sousa marches. I remember his arrangements. He seemed to feel as though Sousa needed extra help. Sousa quite knew his business, thank you very much!!! He didn’t need any help from showman like Yoder.
Not so Heinrich. Only a plebe would see the similarities in one and all of The March King. Listen in depth and and play these marches; you'll find yourself in a new world.
Sousa marches do generally have a similar form and key structure. And their orchestrations tend to be less “orchestral” than their European equivalent marches. Having said that Sousa produces very effective instrumental schemes and usually highly memorable tunes and countermelodies
I love the music. It reminds me of my father who was a musician.
❤❤

Love the single valve contra-bass bugles on the cover! That has to be from the 1960-70's.
I love these Marches music played during silent drills even though M14 carbine rifle is heavy.

que a paz paire no nosso único mundo ao som dessas maravilhosas marchas
Muito bom de se ouvir.nos reporta ao patriotismo que está se extinguindo no Brasil.
This is obviously a pickup group of very fine studio musicians. I would love to see the band roster.

great
I love The thunderer, arranged by Paul Yoder.
thank you so much!!
Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow
From the World ? Sousa's world, perhaps!. What about "La marcha de San Lorenzo" , for example ?.
It’s a small (largely Anglo Saxon) world
Yoder's arrangement of Anchors Aweigh is my favorite of them all.
Me too.
I love this music militari
10/17 of these marches are by Sousa so not really marches from the world.

wow, all Western-mostly American at that
All marches of Sousa have the same sound! You know one - than you know all! Prussian (german) and Austria-Hungaryan Military Composers are way better!

Well yeah, Sousa marches were designed to actually march to not listen to in a concert hall.
Take it easy there "Fuzzy". Please - Please, DIFFERENT. LOL
