Is Instagram still worth it for Artists?

Congratulations on your growth 🥳 I feel the exact same way - I actually really enjoy Instagram and the community aspect of it, but similar to what you said, I think RUclips videos have more longevity, but is kind of lacking in the community space. I wish RUclips had DMs or something that made it feel easier to connect with people more directly and have conversations rather than talking in the comments. Idk if that makes sense lol Thanks so much for the shoutout! Yeah totally agree that RUclips DMs would be amazing!!! It does feel like less possibilities to have direct contact with a creator on RUclips. And if I want to continue a conversation with them outside a comment section, that’s not possible. I do love how people can respond to stories on Instagram and then have those more personal conversations. I think that’s what I’ve taken away is that this a “both and” situation. Instagram has its pros, and so does RUclips. Using them both at the same time can be satisfy the wants that the other platforms doesn’t. Thank you so much for your continued support ❤️❤️❤️❤️ can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for you too!!!

Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience! I also agree that RUclips seems to feel more fulfilling because one of your videos could go viral years after being posted and like you said on Instagram things just kind of get buried.

Thank you!!! Yeah I like the community aspect of Instagram but I think building an audience on RUclips is more worth it!
