“Only 6 hours from my house” - That’s what it takes to go from one end of my country to the other!
Well Dad, Dawson has left you in the dust. My kids are all grown and for me it was/is such a great feeling to watch your children develop, grow and surpass us in the skills and values we taught/teach them growing up. Congratulations and thanks for another great video
I can see why you enjoy the north trails of georgia so much, NICE!
Brian Merryman they are probably the closest mountains to Florida.
Fast and flowy...perfect!
You should really check out Coldwater MTN in Alabama. Great trail system with lots of flow Dawson would have a blast and it also has some great techy climbs as well. Only about an hour West of ATL and it has 3 miles of downhill on the bomb dog trail(premier trail)
I am so fortunate to call these trails home.
Next time up you should try Piney Knob Trails in Murphy, NC. Only maybe 40-45 minutes from Ellijay.
I have a KUAT NV 2.0 Base bike trailer hitch rack . I took your advice and ordered a Cactus Brothers bike rack roller. I love it. Not only is it easy to move this heavy hitch but it allows you to store the hitch out of the way. Good suggestion!
Thanks for taking us with you. Both of you guys just rip, nice riding. Happy Fathers Day.
Those are all great trails-used to travel up there from FL as well when I lived down there. There is a certain character of N GA trails I can’t quite put my finger on that makes them unique and awesome. Keep up the content!
Really enjoyed that,absolutely brilliant
Great trails those, free flowing , tight corners, with some gradient declines.Perfect! They must give you the sense of appreciation and happiness.just brilliant.
I have say your son rides a bike with complete ease, looks a talented bike rider.Must be his Dad’s influence!
Look forward to the next one
Lloydy (Uk)
He's very fluid on a bike for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Bike sounds so clean and durable
Nice flow trails!Happy Fathers Day!
If you ever find your self up in Rapid City, South Dakota look us up. We have all the trails up here!
Used to live in Gainesville FL. San Felasco will always hold a special place in my heart. Now live in North GA, and love Chicopee. Then had my 2nd kid, who's now 3. Havent ridden on the trails in 3 years (see the correlation??) Now I ride my peloton. Hopefully as she gets older I can get back to the trails.
You'll get there bro. Family comes first, but you'll learn how to keep things in balance. Staying healthy will help you be present for your family. And yes, San Felasco is a special place. 🙂
@@ClintGibbs thanks man. Happy fathers day.
The thill of hopping I don’t bust my head wide open like a watermelon
Jake Mountain is awesome. But, watch out for horses. We had a scary moment coming on one of the downhill sections. The horses did not like the sound of our hubs.
Bull and Jake mtn are awesome trails! I ride there often
Dude watch out for the grabboids 🐛
Clint Next time you come to north Georgia you need to do the five point trail system and moonshine trails on Lookout Mountain Georgia also cross over to Tennessee which is 30 minutes away or less and do raccoon mtn trail system lots of elevation and roots and rocks. Check it out 👍🏻 . I Live here in Ringgold Georgia all the trail systems are 30 minutes away from my house.
Thanks! Yes, I've ridden there and really enjoy those trails. So much good riding in the Tennessee-Georgia area!
So flowy, nice trails bro!!
Great as long as the drive doesn't bother you,,, they look nice and flowy and don't look to be black Diamond
Great vids. Tanasi is in Tennessee. Tanasi (Indian) is actually the original name of the state of Tennessee. You should check out Tsali Trails in NC.
Thanks. I've been to Tsali a few times. Fun trails for sure. I do like the longer descents in Georgia and Pisgah.
I think I recognize that Tanasi trail. How long were you guys riding it in North Georgia, because I think you ended up in TN near the Ocoee? Yeah, and watch the ticks, they love hanging out on those leaves and tall grass.
Great footage! I think I need a mountain bike!
Nice trail ride!
👍
which is the direction of that trail looks funny
You should go to 5 points near Tennessee.
Looked like a dam at the end? Very nice. Do you guys climb that or are there shuttles?
All climbing on the bikes...not Dawson's favorite thing but worth it.
Nice footage. Perfect weather. How were the ticks in Tn? Always ticks and bears in Tanasi.
Fortunately no ticks, and unfortunately no bear sightings
@@ClintGibbs probably over a decade ago but we saw a mom bear with several cubs. Thought it was a dog with puppies at first.
Hi Clint. thanks for your very informative videos. I just moved here in the east orlando area and i'm wondering if you can recommend a trail or gravel road where i can ride my gravel bike. thanks. julius
I'm not very familiar with the writing in that area. Santos is not too far and it's one of the best trail systems in the Southeast. I know Apopka has some really good gravel riding. There are some websites that have gravel routes.
Can a intermediate mountain biker ride those trails?
Yes. They are not very technical. As long as you have decent fitness you'll be fine.
What’s the address I’m trying to ride my bike
I'm a gibbs🤔
😎🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Are you the most literate man south of the Mason Dixon?
These are not cheap bikes 🚴 and they are not carbon fiber bikes 🚲
Both the Transition Patrol and the Transition Sentinel are full carbon fiber frames.
im first ;)
great video
