So Danny MacAskill uses "the EDITOR trick" to do those backward wheelies, makes sense now! Ha ha!
@@ahudjwbaba good job understanding the joke
Yeah i think he nose manualed up a bunch of switchbacks 🤣
Its called an Endo
It's note editor that's is fakie
hahaha and fabio wibmer
I started cycling back in the 1970s, you kids have reinvented everything about riding a bike. With all the craziness on the road I put my road bike on a trail last year for the first time and I hit the dirt several times but I'm the type person who never gives up so I started to watch videos like this one.
i really like the facial expressions of this guy, he has the type of face that looks somehow agressive and rude but in the same time very friendly and funny.......like.....like jack nicholson for example
haha Love that analogy! Tom definitely wears his expressions on his face -Christina
haha AKA a face for radio - Tom
I love how Tom just shows up on a hardtail without making a fuss about it.
Thanks Julian, I'm loving it! - Tom
Hi Tom! What hardtail are you riding in the vid?
Thanks in advance!
Ps. Love the tutorial! 👍🏻
@@kinslayerz Looks like a Commencal Meta HT AM. My favorite!
@@enzyum7586 because you have money and you can spend it how you want? Lol
@@enzyum7586 lol the notification I came here from was "Yeah but who has money?" And I feel that bro. Nobody has money.
I've really gotta practice my "editor" trick skills
They almost got me with this. ^^
A case of 'fakey it til you make it'?
You have it! All backwards 😜
Ok
That's easy - just get a fixie.
2:13 "This move is wheelie important". I see what you did there.
lol
stfu it was cringe
Not funny at all 😐
@@deanmickovski9051 boohoo
Wheelies really help me a lot, more than I thought. Just hop on a bench, trackstand, and wheelie down slowly. Feels great.
Tom is getting so good at presenting. Love it.
Thaaaaaaaaanks Colin mate, learning from the best - Tom
Tom and Christina are my spirit anim-......... riders??? I love em both!!! Best presenters. MORE OF THEM PLEASE!!!
Legend has it that they are still waiting for Jason and have set the track stand world record in the meantime.
2:13 “this move is WHEELIE important” wow Christina 😂
Im a beginner biker and this is very helpful to me. Now I'm not going to be bored waiting for my friends for 30 mins before they arrive.
Wow actually one of the best "skills" videos I've ever seen. Thanks a lot
Urban trials skills adds up on the trail. I find if I get in a difficult situation now, I dont bail and stop as much, I have a reflex or a move that will save me most times.
So fun watching you guys having fun!
Thanks for sharing your experiences - your reviews are outstanding. My uncle and I decided to purchase two Haidong Explorer bikes.
Do GMBN vs Pinkbike
My favourite PB duo.
I'll definitely gonna try this
Great stuff!!!!!!!
I just come here to watch you Trek , the "S" size looks so awesome :) byway , i use to do bar spins , jumping over the handlebar without releasing the grips and landing on feet with the front wheel between legs , that "editor" for real , 180 turn on the front wheel , 180 turn on the back wheel , standing on the bike with no grips , wheelie on a circle , no foot cranks spinning ...
That's great! I'm new in this mtb world and this give me a more clear path for practicing
Try to learn bunny hop because it is really usefull in the trails. There is a lot of youtube videos about bunny hop and it is relativelly easy to learn.
I don't mountain bike but I watched this video, tried it, and got a little taste of mountain biking!
Wow, this is a perfect tutorial for beginners
“cursing them at the back of your head” 🤣
I love seeing Tom on Pinkbike
Very helpful, thankyou!
sick video great tips :)
@2:14 "This move is WHEELIE important..."
Unintentional pun is GOLD, baby!
Hahahahahahaa!
Churrrrr Tom, onya bro. Getting mean as at presenting doing us proud
Awesome see you at the park !!
Thanks for this. 👍🏻
Love not taking Tom seriously, and enjoying these fun video’s. 🤙🏻
Wheelie important skills, thank you!
Keep up, you are very talented👏👏👏👏
Thanks !
Good skill friend,
Cool tips! 🤘🏼🤙🏼
I need to learn that stoppie thing. I see it very useful on tight switch backs. I tried ot once in my back yard and I went over the handle bars...not good.
Nothing better than keeping the sport fun, life is not a race, cheers guys ✌
Nah fuck that it’s all about competing and winning! That’s where the fun is.
@@misaelhallett9213 think whatever makes you happy 🤡
@@1969Escobar ok really? How old are you dude come on.
@@misaelhallett9213 older than you for sure
@@misaelhallett9213 been riding for more than 40years, now a 52 grumpy rider
Yo could you make a video for like more extended tricks? Like idk flat 180 or nose bonks, bunnyhop crankflip, just things that aren’t especially necessary for your trail riding but more for fun
good video
Cool skills
It is amazing
Awesome.....
Excellent video. Gives me ideas of things to practice. Thank you.
6:28 I took a while to figure out why they said the editor hahaha great job guys keep it up!
Love it
The party tricks gave me a giggle :D
"This move is *wheelie* important" lol, nice!
using the speed bump as a small ramp would be good for starting jumps trust me i use speed bumps alot
Hi. Complete beginner here. I’ve done very little trail. Couple of hours maybe. My tires are at about 60 psi, but your tyre pressures look much much lower. What do you run them at? I don’t have a high tech bike with suspension. It’s made from scaffold poles 🤣😂. Cheers. Loved the vid.
I really like to practice my bunny hops in the parking lot :)
She said "this move is wheely important" when talking about the wheelie :D
Are wheelies really useful on a trail? I know how to wheelym, but Ive practically never used it on a trail.. Now bunny hops though...
I need to learn that Editor trick. Was it uphill in reverse though? I don't wanna get it wrong 🤣
Here i am who can't afford mtb and still wating ur videos
love from nepal to u❤️❤️❤️
Awesome!
Also what glasses are those that Christina is wearing?
Could I have a link to the bike that Tom uses?
I really like his hardtail😁👍
Could it be that some of these don't work with hardtails? Like the "bouncy" ones (stoppie etc.)?
What shorts does Christina have cause it's the sam colour as mine and we have the same kneepads
What about the bunny hop???
🤙
Wheelies are wheelie important😂
No
ruclips.net/video/O4jvgrUjyso/видео.html ..
That one hurt. I was borderline offended at that joke.
I like your glasses, where did you buy... thanks 👍
Can we do the first one(1:49) in normal cycle which does not have suspension??
I am so intrigued to know how 'The running man' starts and how it ends.
no body knows.... but running man level 2 is to do a full lap around the bike ha.... - Tom
The answer is simple: with tears 😂
The moto lever setup really confused me on Tom's bike until I remembered he's from NZ. Any funny stories yet from people borrowing the bike?
someone know the name of the ending music ?
Tom is such a great addition to the team
Thanks Cookie time! - Tom
Ah yes, the "?" party trick. Some times I even stick a foot out the back on that one and call it the "?!" party trick.
When I do the „?“ I always imagine how cool it would be to take both hands off the bars while doing things.
Then I try to take one hand off, almost die because my front wheel instantly snaps to the side and remember to never do it again until the next time „?“!
@@rolux4853 That wobble then panic grabbing the bar again, hopping back down to the pedals, and pedaling around hoping no one saw you.
The Editor!!
Can I do the rear wheel lift on a hardtail too?
Can someone tell me what the song is from the intro to wheelie
Can i do it on Hummer mountain bicycle folding ??
Been doing the flying eagle since i was kid, and it was todays years old that the trick’s name is the flying eagle😅
lifting the back wheel has always been my Everest
so you tell me to practice a front wheel lift without actually explaining the proper technique to do it. yes very useful thanks
figure eights in parking spots... and seeing how fast you can stop after a spot from a sprint.
Out of all the skills in this video, the only ones I can currently do are the front wheel pop, the flying eagle, the running man, and the ?, but I hope to eventually get them all down
What's the bicycle name you use in this video? & how much it cost?
What goggles brand does Christina use in this video?
This is a great video! Even though we all know the only skill we practice in the car park is a wheelie
What are those glasses you're wearing at 0:45 they look pretty sick
Can someone tell him, how much better are the disk brakes compared to a rim type brakes. I feel like the disk would be so much better, I could really stand the bike up more if I had more braking power.
What helps me with cornering is finding a bunch of loose and tight switchback and sessioning them. Practice cornering In the parking lot doesn’t help me because the pavement is super grippy
Haha, this is me when I ride with my neighbor and he stops to take breaks, lol...
can anyone drop a link or pic. of a Pinkbike Looks like.haha
Is this a Trekstand in that case?
from what i see the rear front lift would be very hard to do on a hard tail.
what does scoop mean? 1.53
how to rear wheel lift on a flat pedal hardtail. lol.
That's what I want to know
Me and Tom have the same bike!!
It's the best do EVERYTHING bike!
Would love to get tips on these skills for those who use clipless pedals?
Crankflips
lol "The Editor" was cool oh and "The Running Man"
How much PSI/Bar you guys use?
How i wish i had those kind of bikes
Look at that Entrance Bay parking lot
What's is the name of the bicycle ?
Have been practicing crank flips. They are rather easy when compared to some other tricks but DO NOT LEARN THEM WITHOUT SHIN GUARDS. If you do, youll be no stranger to blood on your legs
Just waiting for a mate
