4:23 - I think your Dresden Camera is a KW Patent Klapp Etui, made in Dresden, lovely flat camera, depending on the lens also good picture taker… anyway, nice collection, keep them going!
My Young Friend :) Nice beginner collection !!!!!! The thing about collections is You DO NOT let go of any of them !@!!!!! You may never find them again !!!!!!!! They will not bring much money,,,, and they will all fit in a small box for storage :) :) :)
I use a Praktica MTL 5 B with a Pentacon Auto f 1.8 50 mm lens as my go to film camera. Shot a roll of expired Kodak Gold 200 with it. Still waiting for the results to come back from the processing lab (Guess I'm the only person in my hometown to still shoot on film).
Incredible collection, you have G.A.S. worse than me!😊 No half frame?😮 I have the Olympus Pen EE half frame currently loaded with kodak gold 200... I've added your channel, it's always good to connect with other analogue photographers 📸
Do not downgrade, you have a very similar collection to mine, mostly affordable stuff. I havent got a foldable camera yet though. My Praktica MTL3 doesnt work but i so love the way it looks, yes you mentioned it, boxy! Ive got like 10 holgas and dianas, they are really awesome. Im a sucker for russian cameras too, got my zenits, feds and some former soviet kievs. Love your collection. If you fancy toy cameras, give some of the DIY kits a go, the lomo konstructor and the recesky tlr, lots of fun, not the best images. My go to cameras are still the pentax spotmatics, reliable cameras, and the minolta srts.
Yes! love my boxy Prakitca cameras and Zenits too ahah, and i've been eyeing up some kievs. I've been tempted to try out the DIY cameras too, thanks for the recommendations!
@@matt_tube I would recommend a zorki 4a, a Fed 4 or 5 and a Kiev 2(contax actually). And try the lomo Konstructor it's pretty fun. I recently got a Lubitel 2, these are exceptionally good cameras, u can get a second hand one online.
All in good time. It is a slippery slope which for many leads to the Leica trapdoor. The best way to accelerate the process is to buy a LUMIX MFT camera (say G9) with a Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7 or 25mm f1.4. After they there is no looking back! But at least it is a sub US$1000 exercise!

Why the F2 over the F3?
i prefer the more mechanical vibe of the F2 but the F3 was also very tempting! also got a pretty good deal on it so can’t complain :p
where is the mamiya 7
i borrow the mamiya 7 i use from my uni, wish i owned my own though :0
