I'm having the best time going through these Mix Fix Live videos since I caught the 5th one live. I love 'Elevate by New Fangled Audio.' I use it on every mix; however, over time, I realized with some records, I need to tailor the transient section to fit. It's quite good at maintaining even transient information, which may have been the source of that battle.

ah... and TDR Kotelnikov is a really great compressor plugin from Tokyo Dawn. Transparent and very flexible. Check out the gentlemen edition (GE).

aligning the raw acoustik guitar track: "this is good enough for folk" 😂
the funny thing about why thing was not lining up was he forgot to set the correct tempo of song before imported. so when start drag other tracks in they will be off. well that my opinion because it happened to me a couple of time in cubase.
Cubase is really the best DAW
