@@BillyMcBillface no, Romo is the best color commentator in the game. He shouldn't shy away from what he's best at. A three man group with Romo, McAfee, and Nantz would be good.
His commentary was BY FAR the best commentary I’ve heard since prime john Madden.. he actually had a personality and didn’t repeat himself or others 90000000 times during the game
Tony Romo is great in that he explains the game well while he talks. A lot like Madden was known for- you can watch with someone who doesn't know football and they will by the end
I love it when Pat talks about special teams play, you get such good insight and it's something really lacking in the media coverage of football, special teams is a third of the game and very important but very few ex-players on tv have much if any experience in the special teams room so it doesn't really get much coverage and when it does it's usaully negative.
I love the real life football stories that all the other retired guys don't mention to the public. It's really enjoyable as a NFL fan. Thanks Pat. Keep up the good work
Jotaro Kujo Its like that with a lot of guys. Most of them do it for the money, and the chance to get a TV contract after. Pat was smart enough to know that he was one more injury away from being replaced. Plus, the current state of the NFL isn’t great either, basically a toxic waste dump. Combine that all with his GM being a POS.
Mike Justice lmao imagine thinking someone is a spoiled brat for grinding for years to get where he was, then went through 2-3 surgeries and was expecting a 4th if he continued, found something he loved more and did the best thing for the team considering they need a player to be all in and love it all or nothing...
I heard on Sirius a commercial on you being on Mad Dog radio and having Aaron Rodgers on weekly. Being a Green Bay fan it became must listen to radio. Now I am overloading on past You Tube videos. Pat, I watched the entire game where you co-announced the Pack v Lions game and I gotta say, you are by far the best announcer I have ever heard. The humor was on point, GIVE ME MORE PATTY BOI!
I would tune into games where I don’t even watch the teams playing just to listen to Pat. This man is definitely full of personality which commentary needs these days. I hope to see him in the hall of fame one day but that’s a far cry cause of how the game operates. One of the best kickers in history!
Not only are you grateful for the lions v packers game, so many other fans were too! When I heard your voice screaming over that awesome game with especially over the trick play, I was so happy to hear you, and I felt really happy knowing you got ur shot at the big time
Pat as a lions fan that was the greatest meaningless game I ever watched and a lot had to do with your calls, I rewatched Praters TD at least 50 times for that call and I really hope you get a shot next year

Pat McAfee is a huge personality and extremely witty, TV networks usually want to put their employees on a leash. Even sports shows are scripted and they want you to stick with certain narratives, they knew McAfee would be difficult to contain hence the refusal to sign him. Pat has a gift for punting but it's nothing compared to his gift of Gab. He's naturally fun and smart. Glad he chose the new path and it's far easier on the body.

Cormac O'Sullivan that dickhead polamalu

Will Henson or a missed field goal
Plus his Payton Manning stories.
