Commentator: "actually in the SNES manual, Fox amputated both of his feet"

The entire star fox team apparently had amputated legs, replaced with metallic parts. Not having lower body would allow you to sustain higher G-force as blood can't rush down. This is just a theory tho, as far as i know it has been never featured in the snes manual, nintendo never confirmed it.
It's still interesting, as in artworks from nintendo we never had reason to believe otherwise, since when you can't see the metallic legs you still see just boots, which could still contain cyborg legs as far as we know
Except we do know, the creators have straight-up been asked about it on stream and said that it's not true.
For the people complaining about tech and how "basic" a person plays, you can compare this to another instance.
Martial artist 1 can do all sorts of fancy tricks, flips, and styles but can't really fight.
Martial artist 2 is not particularly flashy, but has won a lot of fights.

This locus kid is good, I like him, hes saucy yet patient. Elegant gave him a run for his money though lol

JunSol If you mean UBCEA, he's still with them, but it's really just a local group, not a sponsor. As for PG, it was just to cover travel expenses for one tournament.
Ah, gotcha. I did remember PG next to his name for one tourney. The other one you mentioned, that was probably what I was thinking. Back at Civil War (and earlier)

Funny thing is that locus isn't even using advanced ryu techs, i said it ever since ryu first came out: Ryu won't even be played optimally before the new smash comes out (and everybody moves onto it). It's a shame, a real shame
You don't need always need to use advanced tech to win my man.
Still, you need them to be the best and play a char optimally. Besides, i think ryu mains really DO need to use them since i never saw a ryu win a tournament
I mean it's not even arguable that being able to use advanced techs makes you better than if you couldn't use them, the fact that you can win without them proves nothing unless you can *always* win, which again is not the case
