Just picked this guy off the peg at Target. Has a nice solid feel in hand and I love having a better representation of this model- I’ve got him displayed in front of my Armor Wars II comic!
You sold me this figure, I bought it while watching this video! I have the older retro carded figure you showed and let me tell you the difference is night and day (the old one is too small)!!! I bought this one so I can build my Avengers Arcade game display with the retro card Vision and Skysled Hawkeye (which I bought two so I can have a Skysled for Captain America). I need a 20th anniversary Captain America now but don't want to spend scalper prices. The Puff Adder will have to do until we get a new retro Cap'.
Pins vs Pinless will never bother me. When it comes to customizing or kit bashing.. I actually prefer pins. If it was my 70 dollar Mafex X-Men? Ok.. but for a Marvel legends ? Meh, 25 dollar figures don’t have to be pinless.
NGL I kind of like those smoke effects more than the figure itself. Not a fan of this design, looks too goofy and the most significant appearance of this armor was in Infinity Gauntlet where Iron Man got his head ripped off by a female Thanos. The figure from what I see is mostly War Machine so I'm not sure just how much reuse is in play but hey it's good reuse honestly.
I'd prefer it with a rich gold and metallic red. If they did that with the slimmer look boots and hinhed repulsar hands, then I'd be interested. It's still a fun looking figure though.
@@freemind6954modern people just can't appreciate good art because their left woke minds were born watching stuff that sucked and are jealous we were born when there was real style. And their taste is distorted . They actually like the horrible iron man armor of the MCU 😅these Gen Zs are just 🧌🤡 s. I feel sympathy for them though they never knew comics actually were good way back then they got woke comics now
I might buy this so I can set up a display based on the , Captain America and the Avengers arcade game.
That what's I'm doing. $15 for black Friday. Now I just need to get my hands on the hawk eye bundle at ollies.

As a fan of the 90s animated iron man ill probably pick this up

That model looks like a good representation of sentinels. Army builder.
Mega Iron Man. Can the blast effects fit into the wrists? 3:24 Deluxe War Machine arms.
Really nice version. Like wow that's better than the old toybiz one 😂❤
Totally agree with this review. I really can’t put this figure down
Was very happy they did this figure. Was long overdue for a figure upgrade. I have the Vintage wave 1 release.
My repulser blaster hands are loose inside the peg hole as well. I watched another reviewer mention the same thing. Universal issue I take it.
Try just smearing a thin layer of superglue on the peg to thicken it up a bit. Let it dry then pop it back in. If still loose give it another layer.
You can try another hand from another iron man figure . From other waves that match the color
I like the Model 09. It's one of his classic looks.

I like the 70s look on the Big Boots 😅 its awesome disco anime look
The giant megaman boots is what sold me on it
One of the best versions of Ironman vintage 90s style

This figure looks incredibly cheap and also goofy af
It's a nostalgia piece. People born 12 years ago really can't appreciate that...
@@freemind6954 cool, I’m 36 go EAD
What's More Goofy are your MCU armor's they are boring as hell . This one is a classic vintage look on how iron man should look like.
