I definitely agree with that statement. Keep putting content like this and your other videos & you'll get up there as a top tier disc golf content creator.
Eagle is playing pretty much exclusively left handed at leagues with us, and he's usually top 3 if not winning every time. I feel like this time playing only lefty is going to make for a new eagle with so many more weapons in his arsenal
The shoulder injury happened when he dislocated it doing the photo shoot. Eagle has a ton of mobility and flexibility which is a blessing and a curse. His joints are relatively loose which contributes to his power but also instability. He re-injured it at Jonesboro throwing a forehand which caused it to either subluxate or dislocate again. He has a torn labrum which is the soft tissue in the joint. Currently he is trying stem cell therapy to regenerate the tissue. Historically, this is one of the worst injuries to have when it comes to throwing sports. Being 1000+ rated at one point myself and having this exact same injury and eventually having surgery I will tell you he will never have the same forehand again. He was throwing 500+ on golf lines and that was giving him a huge advantage in 18 and 19. If he could get to 80 percent and throw 400 fh that would be a huge accomplishment. This injury takes a long time to heal and rehab properly I would guess we won’t see him until 2023.
The last ace, the roller ace was amazing because he called it and he pulled that disc from a mystery box. They were doing a goofy video of mostly horsing around.
I’ve been thinking about Eagle a lot this season and how good he would be doing. I feel like he is the most naturally talented disc golfer ever. Just doesn’t have the mental game/professionalism like a McBeth yet.
I'm a Rick fan...have been since day 1 of discovering this sport some 10 years ago....but eagle has impressed me. He has the game to take over this sport and dominate like Paul has the last ten years ....he's fun to watch 👍
Watching Eagle for years now, I wouldn’t call him well balance. He has impressive strengths but his balance is off when it comes to short range shots. Soon he will have that balance. Great video overall.
I enjoy watching eagle play, he's obviously an incredible athlete, but Im not a fan of his personality. I feel the same about Simon, but I'm warming up to Simon a bit recently.
Eagle went to hard to fast...making him one of the most exciting players to watch....hopefully he makes a full come back. But those injuries are tough to get back from.... only time will tell
@@theclassicalcraftsman most clutch, most feel good, most disney ending story, yes, for sure. But parking that hole should not be possible. It is truly insane what he did. Every player on tour CAN do what Conrad did (reach the basket, make that shot), but I doubt that anyone can park that hole the way Eagle did. And I can't stand Eagle or Discmania so this is a totally unbiased opinion.
@@frankhaula I know what you're saying. Kind of 2 different categories. Conrad has the best shot of all time, Eagle most impressive shot of all time or something like that
Eagle had an anterior dislocation of the R Shoulder from the 360 FH Now he has loose ligaments. He needs to strengthen the pecs & lat muscles, they’re Sh IR,.. reducing the risk of ER dislocation Surgery can tighten the ligaments up again
Non surgical conservative treatment often has equivalent results a few years out from to those that get surgery. He just needs a good PT to work with to get him right
Your channel might be the most underrated channel in disc golf RUclips
That is the nicest comment I have ever had. Thanks.
Hmm, subbed.😃

Seconding this. And he’s not even playing to beat us he’s practicing shapes and situations, not taking ideal lines and safe established routes.
The DGPT is missing Eagle more than anyone will admit…
imagine if you made this video today. the ending would be a huge comeback story.

That's really sad that we'll never see him full strength again, we was such an entertaining player
I hope for him and for the sport that he'll return at full health.
He is such a talent and one of my favorite players to watch.
He said he can throw lefty over 400 ft consistently so hopefully he can use his left hand if his right hand won't allow him to throw forehands
@@okkouljas5172 which I’m sure he can get to 500+ lefty. Almost no need for a forehand if you can do both lefty and righty backhands 500+
Serious question: do you think his vegan diet has anything to do with his injuries?
1:17 “I throw like, my upshots from that” 😂😂💀 goated commentary moment
It's hard not to love Eagle. He plays with passion. I'm also a fan of his dad after the jomez spotlight. Rooting for a big time comeback next season
Breaking his hand punching the ground was hilarious 😂
Hopefully he manages to heal the injury. My favourite player to watch by far, Eagle is an absolute beast!
The last ace, the roller ace was amazing because he called it and he pulled that disc from a mystery box. They were doing a goofy video of mostly horsing around.
Love your stuff man, keep em coming!
1:27. Insane, no movement other than wrist
Eagle is for sure one of my Favorites. I have missed him recently.
I play a round with him once a week. Nice guy. Glad to have him in our league
I enjoy watching your videos as much as I dislike watching Eagle difficulties!

FYI the jomez photoshoot injury was his shoulder, he has never had elbow issues.

Eagle has stated he never had an elbow injury. It was always his shoulder.
In Simon's latest blog he mentions both but primarily the shoulder.
He's also a tshirt quote generator. "Are you afraid of life?" Still sticks with me.
Watching Eagle for years now, I wouldn’t call him well balance.
He has impressive strengths but his balance is off when it comes to short range shots.
Soon he will have that balance. Great video overall.
Guy, makes very good videos!
My favourite player! Let’s go Eagle
Good work
Can't wait too see him back on the road as go get it
His spin putt really is butter. It loses it's spin and speed right at the basket. Limits under and overthrow
I really hope he comes back seamlessly and his mind is right.
Eagle’s gotta be my favorite because of his humor and skill
I enjoy watching eagle play, he's obviously an incredible athlete, but Im not a fan of his personality. I feel the same about Simon, but I'm warming up to Simon a bit recently.
What is it about Eagle’s personality?
Same, I prefer class acts like McBeth to these young upstarts.
I like Eagles personality. He's very relatable in his vlogs.
What the hell is wrong with his personality?? 🤦🏽♂️
This would be a fine opinion if you gave any reasoning
Eagle went to hard to fast...making him one of the most exciting players to watch....hopefully he makes a full come back. But those injuries are tough to get back from.... only time will tell
Nothing beats his performance in Europe
I pray eagle gets healthy he is my favorite much love from Colorado eagle
I think that the shot at 1:44 will go down in history as the single best disc golf shot ever thrown.
James Conrad has entered the chat.

No. Absolutely amazing shot yes, but best shots are when there’s a championship on the line, pressure at 100% and the player lives up to the challenge
@@TheTailors1 those are the clutch shots, yes, I'm talking about the most technically difficult shots to perform. So, you're all American, right?

Surgery can tighten the ligaments up again
and now we see him win European open, right of an injury
There is no one with greater potential and a bigger knobb end at the same time.
Missing eagle v Rick v Paul final rounds this year
Lots of ads. That's too bad.
Is that his real name?
One of my favorite players ever. Wish he'd stop screwing around and just commit to surgery to fix his shoulder.
Non surgical conservative treatment often has equivalent results a few years out from to those that get surgery. He just needs a good PT to work with to get him right
1:41 700 just like that
His win at 5:20 I hate to say but it’s so corny and feminine like bruh you can’t be walking like that 😂😂
Who hurt you? Who made you this awful??
@@hahablahblahblah6774 who made you so Butt hurt
So sorry about your fragile masculinity
I didn't get that from him. Looked like he was holding back from over celebrating to me.
Eagle is the man!
Oh come on!?! 2016 was eagle before he was eagle! Be real!
Subbing for sure. Let me know if you need any help with production work moving forward. I specialize in Audio editing 😁
