    What I love about Taron is that he said he didn't feel like he had to leave his dignity at the door to dress up in all these crazy costumes. He genuinely enjoyed it despite it not been close to his personal style, and that kind of respect and security makes him even more deserving for this role along with his already perfect portrayal.

    • @acsone3546
      @acsone3546 Год назад +7

      Why would wearing costumes diminish someone's dignity? Do you imply that Elton has no dignity or self-worth or what? It was Taron's JOB, a chance of a lifetime to play a legend, and you praise him for not complaining about his job? Come on!

    I love how they did Elton's entrance - the slow motion and haze (begins at 1:06). It really conveys that feeling you get when you HAVE to do something and you are not really sure that you can. Sound fades and time slows down.

      daniel taylor Are you ok ? That never happened in real life. That was just to add more drama. Even John Reid wasn’t as horrible as that in real life. You, my friend need to learn the difference between a documentary and a biopic. I suppose you also believe that Elton really floated in real life when he did concerts and became a rocket ?

    I love the opening of this scene. Because Elton (A nobody at the time) is scared shitless because he's playing after the Beach Boys and is worried he wouldn't be able to top them, when he should just play his song than worry about who he's playing after.

Seeing a huge star like Elton John have a moment like that gives me hope that I can overcome it! I want anyone who goes on a stage regularly, who sings or does theatre, to know I have huge admiration and respect for you.
    Also, the "well c'mon then" was really funny haha

    Sorry, I know it can sound so annoying for Elton john fans but I love this boy playing Elton even more than the original Elton himself, what a lovely actuation, and the lalala part well I know i may be too euphoric for such a simple sound and lyrics but it’s just my favourite part of the movie he seems to have so much fun and then the others guitarists too and fuck the crowd going crazy and singing like one voice the same lovely sound it just gives me a kind of goosebumps that I can even explain with rational arguments
