    Thank you so much, the lookup one seems very useful. Here’s an idea for a video that will go viral:
    I want to make a Midjourney prompt generator that has several columns (artist, technique, subject, background) that each go into a drop down menu for each one, then once you have chosen each result it can output it as a string of text that can be copied and then pasted into the Midjourney prompt field. Can numbers do that?

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 года назад

      No idea what Midjourney is, but you can do this with Numbers and pop up menu cells and then just simple text concatenation like =A1&B1&C1 and so on.

      Not sure what you are asking. If you want things that are important to you to be near each other, just design your spreadsheet document with that in mind.

    I have a spreadsheet with a header, and has 500 rows, how can I split the view so I can see rows where I am working, and I can see the totals row at the bottom at the same time. Excel does it but not sure if IOS iPad numbers does this. Haven’t been able to find this.

    Hi Gary, I spend a lot of time to view your great video's!! Thanks a lot!!! Now, is there something like "macro" in Excel for Numbers? So far, I didn't find something on your video's. The meaning is to arrange the imported data of a whole spreadsheet with a shortkey.
    Have a nice day!

    • @macmost
      @macmost  3 года назад

      No, there are no Macros. But you can use AppleScript or JavaScript to do similar things. It helps if you know how to code. See ruclips.net/video/Wjf1QHKHPpI/видео.html

    hope you can help; I watched this video but you didn't cover this point. When I'm in Numbers and I select a cell, the outline (lines themselves used as a border) are so thin and faint I can't see them. I know how to change borders of a cell but this is in the 'select' mode. Is there a way to thicken these lines so I can see what is selected?it is not like this in iPad OS. Hope you can help; thanks

    • @macmost
      @macmost  Год назад

      Sounds like a screen resolution or brightness issue? The selection border shouldn't be hard to see.

    Hi Gary :) Maybe you can help me. I've created a budgeting spreadsheet in Numbers. One of the tabs is a 'no spend day calendar'. What I'd like to do is have a specific date cell (eg. 1.01.23) automatically highlight (go red) when the same date is input in the 'spending log' tab (where I input all my spendings). I know how to colour the cells, all cells are formatted to date in both tables. Is there a way to do that?

    • @macmost

      Yes. Use Conditional Highlighting. ruclips.net/video/-4wn6-f4gRg/видео.html
