One tip I have….I buy a Get In Line Matte Black Covergill Ink Well eyeliner. I cut the tip of the applicator so it’s blunt. I tightline before hand, and do mascara, but sometimes there’s a disconnect. I do not wear eyeliner very often, so here’s what I do. As my last step, I take the eye liner applicator, lean my head back and look down in a mirror, I take the Get In Line applicator and just push it up under the false lash band in between my lashes! It gives a perfect dark base to conceal the disconnect between my lashes and the false lash!

I am used to wearing lashes as my own have always been rubbish but being older I am finding it increasingly difficult to get natural looking ones. Love the tutorials! I've never worn glue on lashes, just magnetic or press on. I made a trip to Ulta today to buy the Kiss clear lash glue with Aloe that Risa recommended. I want to be 100% prepared when my lashes (Martini and Day Club) arrive.

This is exactly how I apply my lashes but my biggest issue is that no matter what the inner portion always pops off. It's so frustrating! Appreciate the tutorial though :)

I have never worn false lashes but would like to as my lashes are thinning out as I get older. I have some I purchased about a year ago, with the info you provided I feel I can go ahead and try them. I will order from BK Beauty for my next purchase. Thank you for all the useful tips.
Good question Sue... I find it easier to apply the lash strips when my lashes are clean... if they have mascara on them for me it gets in the way of being able to see exactly where they should lay on the eyelid.
Lisa, thank you so much for this awesome lash application video! I ordered the Dayclub and Martini lashes as soon as Risa published her launch video the other day. I’d like to ask you the same question I left on her application tutorial video to get your thoughts. My biggest issue applying lashes is that my 68-year-old, narrow, very hooded eyelids are wrinkled and crepey, so it’s hard to apply the lash band right at the base of my lids, where the skin is not smooth. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 💗

I’m almost 60 and I’ve never ever even tried to apply false lashes but especially after my recent chemotherapy I ought to at least try them with all this help. I own most BK Brushes and all the Angie collab brushes. I just sent a lot of your brushes to my daughter in NY. All that said, Risa’s vocal fry has always made me bail out of every video early. Thank you for also doing a tutorial. Sorry for the typo, love YOUR voice!
Preface: I've always had temperamental natural lashes and I have to be very delicate when cleaning off makeup or they fall out. Question: I've applied the false lashes and blended my natural lashes into them using mascara. When I remove my false lashes, very gently, a few of my natural lashes get pulled out. How do I avoid this? You said we shouldn't use makeup remover on the false lashes bc it will ruin them. Will it actually ruin them? Because either I ruin my natural lashes or I ruin the false lashes, and I'm just at a loss.
I have to call my lashes and I put on a black brown mascara, but I don’t put on a waterproof ones. Are they stay up and then I tried to apply lashes. My lashes are blonde and straight.

I love your channel! However, Risa is not someone I would ever support and had to block her on Instagram after she basically attacked a comment I made on being a teen mom and the fact that my fiancé is adopted. Apparently she was pushing more for abortion than what my story allowed. I’ve never been more disappointed. I will never support someone who attacks another’s beliefs. I just want people to know what Risa is about, and it’s not for women who chose to keep and/or adopt a baby.

When wearing the Martini half lash, why not apply mascara to your natural lashes first before applying the false lash?

Kiss lash glue is what Risa uses.
