Jordaniel Operana Yep. Back in 2001, around launch time, I used an Opel Calibra Touring Car. I came in last until I learned about the Nissan R390 GT1 and braking. Then I was unbeatable until I got to the Formula GT championship. However, even that series is a breeze for me now, since I have the F094/H. Fun fact: The developers made a mistake, the Opel Calibra shows up as the Opel Caribra in the garage and car select.
I'd say that the rhythm is the least jazzy thing about this. It's jazz/rock/funk fusion, so it's basically jazz melody and harmony but with rock and funk rhythms. The guitar is more of a funk accompaniment style. Traditional jazz guitar accompaniment would be soft finger plucking whereas this is sharp and rhythmic strumming, played with a pick.
Not for me. My very first games on that system were Jak and Daxter, Playstation Underground Jampack discs, and lots more. But I remember getting this too when I was 8.
I remember first playing this at my friends when I didn't have a PS2. The difference in quality, graphics etc. was incredible. I haven't seen a bigger leap from generation since then.
@@FenrirtheBloodHusky Get a GT7 to GT3 comparison. There is a big difference! The reason the graphics jump is not so dramatic these days is because gt3 already made it quite realistic!
@@Daniel-zo5wz you clearly didn't understand the point... the generational leap in quality between PS1 and PS2 was 10x higher than PS2 to PS3 or any jump after that
The music just screams Ps2. A new upcoming console that shows the next generations of technology. Yesterday was the Choppy polygonal Ps1. Tomorrow Is the new achievement in technology! It runs better and can show some real power!
at the age of 12, in 2004 me and my friends gathered around the TV, playing this new racing game, GT3, i was still in japan, before i moved to america, imagining what is the meaning of this game
I loved the shit out of this game. The things I remember most are this song, my fingers bleeding trying to perfect those damn licence challenges, and my Nissan Skyline GT-R
Ironic how this franchise has some of the best music ever but have quite possibly the hardest to learn controls and biggest learning curves of video game goddamn history.
And now, you all remember the first track you played was super speedway.

@@alexsaffamerica and you should take a look at GT1 (J) Engrish.
The jazzy rhythm of that guitar is very seductive.

Jani Ukkonen tl;dr it’s funk guitar.
@@kirbycutterkid Eh, you're not wrong.
If there's any, it's the lead guitar near the end :-)
@@Elintasokas hm yes a traditional post-modern style of accompaniment with a rhythmic pickle. yes indeed.

@@brunosuicida6791 That is true! It must have been an amazing experience!
Yeah just compare MGS1 and 2. Progressing through the 90s and into the 2000s must have been an exciting experience.
Im a hardcore GT4 fan, i gotta say that i love the 90's feel of the all mighty GT3
Love the username.
With you there. GT4s music is brilliant, but GT3 has a lot more that makes you want to groove with it, rather than sit back and absorb it.
OH THE NOSTALGIA!!!!!!
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THIS SONG HAD A NAME!

For some reason, I get a "Sega rally " feel from some of the additions to this song, particularly the electric guitar.
How i won over my older brother in this game

Where's the irony?
TF2 is for men, thats why there are no curves
