Just caught DSD live in Manhattan and then again in Brooklyn this week. Incredible live show--vicious but melodic guitar, great syncopation, tight band--the energy from the drums drives the whole thing. They tore the roof off the place.
I had never heard of them before watching a rig rundown with Jessica on the Premier Guitar channel this morning, and I must say I really like what I'm hearing here now! And so good that her vocals measure up to the band's overall sound, too; I was a bit disappointed in that respect when discovering some other bands lately, like Snail Mail. Great stuff! :-)
Love them so much. I live in Brazil and they live so far away from us. But we will meet each other one day, eventually. In the meantime of always waiting I will look forward to hearing the new secret album that is less secret as of now.
