Some trivia about the vocals on BOTH the Chicago and Leonid & Friends versions: Peter Cetera was supposed to sing lead for the whole song, but after Chicago recorded the instrumental track, they realized it was in too low a range for Cetera's voice, so Terry Kath sang everything except the bridge. And of course three of the Beach Boys provided those heavenly harmonies. With L&F, Vitalii, who sings the Cetera part, has the group's deepest voice, full of growl (he sings their cover of "Vehicle") and usually sings Kath's parts. Serge, the tenor who sings lead on L&F covers like "25 or 6 to 4", hadn't joined the band yet, so they got Vitalii to sing in head voice!
L&F always project a 'happiness" in the renditions of whatever they are singing..a consummate band..every performance is done with incredible ethusiasm...enjoy all performances....🧡💛👍

In the original recording of Street Player by Chicago, the late great Maynard Ferguson then played the fantastic trumpet part. Since he was no longer alive during this Leonid & Friend's recording, they had Arturo Sandoval play the high trumpet part. He did a kick ass job on it.
