    I just got mine. Sounded great, but that was after I had to disassemble the mini switch on the inside that selects either true bypass or buffered bypass. One of the tiny legs on the inside of the switch was bent. I bought this wah brand new. It left your factory without even being able to pass signal. The icing on the cake was after 3 days, 3 damn days the geared treadle arm snapped. I just Paid $169 plus tax for a wah pedal that came from the factory not being able to pass signal and mechanically died 3 days later. Hope you read this Dave. I lost money buying your product.

      I Bought one of these and was very unimpressed. Cheap pcb construction, cheap miniature potentiometer, and big volume drop when switched on. My Real McCoy RMC3 and BBE Ben Wah absolutely blow this Friedman wah out of the water in terms of sound and construction. Overpriced and disappointing

    I have sold and traded so many wahs. I will have to get this. The sweep on the videos sound killer and not shrill like crybaby’s. And a light!🤘

    Inside is present a little switch to can pass between true bypass or buffered. Using the buffer mod this pedal can be used with a fuzz?

    I just need this pedal, but switchless .... (and LEDs on the sides, on top is difficult to see if standing behind the pedal.) Otherwise, sounds awesome

    FRIEDMAN AMPS, Why does the Gold 72 wah work with amplifiers overdriven channels or distortion channels or distortion pedals? because most wah pedals gets masked off and can't cut through when using an overdrive or distortion pedal after the wah but the Friedman wahs cut through and don't get masked off. I'm wondering if that output buffer is what is causing it to prevent getting masked off or the wah circuit has been modified values?

    There is no manual for this, right? Something that says which direction the buffer switch does what, for example.
    Up is off, down is on? The video was a little hard to see, but I think that's it.
    I had to turn i t off because when it's on, it makes the pedals down the chain (toward the amp) pop when I turn them on and off. Why would that happen? Stopped as soon as the buffer was switched off (if I have the direction right).

    Which direction does the switch go for true bypass? Up or down?

    What would be the difference between the fulltone wah, and the Friedman?

    • @therangersinger
      @therangersinger 4 года назад +1

      The fulltone is made with quality parts and the friedman is made with the cheapest.

      @@therangersinger absolutely correct. The Friedman wah I bought was sent back immediately after I heard the volume drop and saw how cheaply made it was. The potentiometer is a joke, miniature item.

    Stupid place to put the led, you wont see that on stage from behind your pedal board.

    I returned this right after trying it. It chatters on the switch when you move it, very annoying, not good clearance between the pedal and switch, never seen any wah do this. It is not just mine, another guy did a video and complained of the same thing. All these videos are ignoring the fact this wah is NOT well build and feels rather cheesy when you try and work it, the noise of hitting the switch while moving it is beyond ignoring. Bull talk for a one eyed fat man, Friedman is taking us for a ride while he goes out to eat on our dime. This is a terrible pedal. Great buffer, nice led on, modes are OK not great. Other wahs are much better. So many of these paid for "demo/reviews" are using plug ins and what not to improve the tone, beware of the con. This wah sucks! Doubt me? Get one and try it.
