Well 20 goals its a very good amount for a season. Very few can get even to 30 goals so to score 70 or 90 it’s out of this world.
I guess I didnt realize how great 70-91 goals was! This really put things into perspective.

In the year 2012, great teams like Arsenal, Dortmund scored under 90 goals.
LIONEL MESSI scored 91.
Same Ronaldo scored 84 goals with man united during 7years
20 25 goals this season usually for top strikers all around Europe.

The 91 goals was the calendar year of 2012.

Goal wise it’s crazy the rate him and Ronaldo are scoring at. They’ve basically a goal a game over the last 12-13 years.. but If your averaging between .25-.45 goals per game youre a solid goal scorer. Then top tier are are scoring from like .5 to .75 a game and if you’re lucky you’ll have a few season where you’re pushing one goal a game. Think of it this way, best batting avg record I believe is .426 I believe, imagine some one avg .500 for over a decade
I think 15 goals for a striker or someone in a forward position can be considered a very good turnover. I played semi professionally for 14 years and managed 18 in my best season. He averages maybe 30 in his 'worst' of seasons and 50 odd in his best of seasons against the best the world have to offer. That stand alone is crazy. The fact he's done it for 12-15 years, If you'd ask me 20 years ago id have said that was impossible. He also has the most assists of all time. Any attacking stat you can think of....he is on top by an infinite distance. Ive played and watched a lot of sports, I don't think I've ever seen anyone as good as anything as he is at football. Messi is better at football than Einstein was at physics.

You are right...and those who want proofs, you can even check out his stats in the last three seasons including this year. He is the highest rated player in the last 5 years too - with the highest ratings on average of every match he plays. Also, not many know but he has nearly 100 more Man of the Match awards for football than Ronaldo in this decade itself!

He is yet to win a Copa America that is reserved for South American nations and a World Cup although he has been in a WC final and 4 Copa America finals. Heartbreak.

They mentioned “El clasico” alot because it is the most intense rivalry in our sport. Also add the fact “El clasico” meant bringing the 2 best players (Messi & Ronaldo) in a showdown. Similarly to Barcelona and Messi... Real Madrid and Ronaldo also conquered Europe many years. I can’t choose who ... both are amazing but maybe you can decide. Barcelona have been in kind of a crisis over the last 2-3 years due to bad management and poor decisions by the board. Messi is literally carrying that team by himself (3 goals and 9 assists in the last 5 or 6 games) without him they wouldn't be a world class team anymore. He's 33 so his prime won't last much longer so I hope barcelona get it together, so he won't have to spend the last years of his career carrying the entire team by himself, they gotta take some pressure off of him. After all he's done for barcelona in the last 16 years they owe him that much at least.

The main reason he can still do it at 33 is that his game isn't very dependent on physical attributes but more on his superb intelligence, understanding of the game and his intuition. He doesn't score 91 goals in a year anymore but he's become the best playmaker in the world, while still being one of the best goalscorers and his playmaking abilities won't get worse with his age it will probably get even better. That's why many see him as the goat, after 15 years at the top he still doesn't show any signs of getting weaker. We're blessed that we can watch an athlete like him play every week it's not something you should take for granted imo.
Every country has their own league that consists of 38 games

At the end of 38 games the league table is structured on how many points you win.
Every country has 2 cup competitions that is bases on a knock out system or in Spain a home and away match where total of the goals are numbered up and the winner goes to the next round.
Then their is the Champions League where the top teams in Europe play each other.

And I dont know if you can even consider Messi a striker. Most of the time he's technically a number 10 (an offensive midfielder) and the amount of goals per season for those positions is like half of the goals scored by strikers.
He is a right winger, which makes him an attacker. But you're statement is true aswell, cause he fullfiles his role as both a striker and midfielder.

To answer you questions: the average amount of goals for good players in a season are almost 30-40. The champions league is a tournament that happens every year. Basically it is all europe best teams competing together, it starts with group stages where there is 8 groups each group has 4 teams. The teams play each team twice, on at their home stadium and one at the other’s team stadium(away). A win is 3 points, draw is 1 point and losing is zero. After playing every other team twice the top 2 team (according to points)from each group qualify to the round of 16, where each team play another team twice(like play-offs) but after 2 matches the team with more total goals qualify to the next round which is quarter final/round of 8 then semi final and then final which is played as one single match
The champions league match against psg was the greatest comeback ever, psg won 4:0 in first leg, then barca won 6-1 in second leg so 6-5 on aggregate

Each league has a cup competition that anyone from the top division to the lower divisions can play, but some leagues have more than one cup competition each year. Every league also has a league title that everyone plays each other home and away once that consists of about 40 games and the top four teams of the best leagues in Europe play against each other which is called the UEFA Champions league (this is the best club competition a team can win) where teams player home and away leg. And finally every four years there is a World Cup .

La Liga = a league format tournament of top 20 teams in Spain, each team plays each other twice in a season.
Copa del Rey = a knockout tournament for all professional Spanish teams.
Supercopa de Espana = a small 4-team knockout tournament between the the top 2 La Liga teams and the 2 Copa del Rey finalists.
Champions League = a knockout tournament between the top few teams from each major European country.

The previous record for most goals scored in a calender year stood for more than 40 years before Messi broke it. A german legend named "Gerd Müller" scored 85 goals back in 1972 and there's a reason why it stood for so long. The format in the UEFA Champions League consists of two stages:
1. A group stage - 8 groups of 4 teams. Each team plays each other twice (home and away). 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss. Top two teams with most points from each group advance.

There's one thing nobody mentioned about Messi: There's a handful of briliant players in footbal history that have managed to have high level performances throughout their carreer. Every country has its own competition and depending how good a certain country (National team + competition from that country is) there will be a certain amount of teams going to either Champions League (the higher the national ranking is, the more teams from that competition can qualify for Champions league) or Europa League (a level lower then the champions league).. And scoring 70 or 90 goals a season, nobody has ever done before.. 20 is decent, 30 is sublime but to make more then 50 is already phenominal!! Let alone stand 70 or even 90 goals in the whole season (that also includes friendly games, cup games and champions league / europa league).. I like this content man, keep it up!!

Yes every county have their own league in Europe. Like Spain have LaLiga league, Germany have Bundesliga league, Italy have Serie A league, France have Ligue 1, England have Premier League. Also the top 2-4 teams from each country play in the CHAMPIONS league for top team in the WHOLE of Europe

Every country has their own league like the MLS here in the US. within each country there is a cup tournament thats played by many levels of professional soccer. The top teams in each league qualify for champions league which is all of the top teams from Europe. This is usually the biggest trophy of the year besides the winning the league. Then there is international play, additional tournaments from winning cups. All played simultaneously throughout the year

You are right about the evolution of his game and he knows it too.. you should watch "The game Through Lionel Messi's eyes" from MagicalMessi. There he speaks of the many stages he went through in his career.
Almost every country around the globe got their own Football Association with several leagues from division one down to 4/5/6, after that you also have some amateur leagues. Every FA got a cup or even more, where clubs from same league or even more divisions(some also with amateur clubs starting) play against each other in knock-out rounds.
Now every continent got their own "international cup/s". In europe you have the Champions League, considered as the most competitve tournament, where only the league champions (weaker leagues) or clubs that finished 1-4 (stronger leagues) qualify. They first play in groups of four, but only the best two clubs qualiy for the knock-out stage.
Then you have the next european cup calles Euro-League (former Uefa-Cup, or "League of loosers"). Teams that finished 4/5/6 in their national league or have won the national cup qualify for it. Same like with the CL, group stage, knock out stage.
End of the season (in summer) winner of Champions-League and Europa-League battle each other, that's the "super cup"
Other continents have their own tournaments that are comparable like "Copa Libertadores" in south america (strongest after european one), AFC Champions(Asia), CONCACAF Champions League (north and middle america), CAF Champions League (africa) and OFC Champions League Oceania.
In winter the winning clubs of their continental tournaments battle each other in hte "fifa a club world cup".
