How impressive is Angelina? All I can say is that Angelina, as a person and as a vocalist, has improved the quality of my life in ways that are hard to describe. Her music inspires me to be more creative and motivates me to want to make the world a better place. I don't think there are any higher compliments one can give to a fellow human being. I, along with other angels, have embarked on an inspired mission to transform the culture of the music reaction world on RUclips, and also make it a better place by suggesting that reaction channels go beyond just cookbook reactions. I and fellow angels are recommending that reactors be creative in inspiring and educating viewers how to elevate support for the artists. This may include providing all links and recommending that viewers utilize those links. It should be a natural thing to do and both reaction Channel and artists benefit. Andy, yes. Reactors should supply the original video link as well as the official Channel links. Since viewers don't go there on their own, they should encourage the viewers to like and comment on the original video and to subscribe to the artist Channel. Reaction channels cannot exist without talented artists and they deserve that type of support. Not only does it help the artist but it helps the reactor Channel in terms of increased fan loyalty and new subscriptions. They said that the internet has allowed them to find all of these new artists. That is true. But since it is so wonderful that they have found them, why not use their platform to help them?

Let's give kudos to Adele's songwriting. For me, she is the greatest writer of "sad" songs in the 21st century. But also for me, no one covers an Adele song like Angelina. She has done 7 or 8 now, and her versions are my favorites of anyone's, including the originals. This is an outdoor concert in Norway during the summer of 2019, just a few months before she returned to the USA for her AGT Champions 2 performances. You can notice that she is wearing the same outfit. This performance is simply Remarkable. Her crescendo on the chorus is about as good as it gets. What a great memory for those lucky enough to be in the audience. She will return to Norway this summer for two concerts, both of which are already sold out. There is speculation that at 16, Angelina will graduate from high school in June. That is when her family will give the okay for Republic Records to promote her and market her products and image. I predict she will release her long awaited next album, and travel the world to promote it. Hopefully, she will be a Shooting Star worldwide. Great reaction guys.

Where does Angelina's deep voice come from? How does she do some of the amazing things we hear from her voice? Note that Angelina has a long neck due to her height (estimated as 6’ give or take an inch) and may have a larger larynx (i.e., voice box) than the average woman.
(1) Angelina is probably a contralto with the possibility of singing at a higher level. A contralto is what the lowest female singing voice is called. This vocal range is rare. The range typically falls between the F below middle C (F3 in scientific pitch notation) to the second F above middle C (F5), although, at the extremes, some voices can reach the D below middle C (D3) or the second B♭ above middle C (B♭5). Since Angelina has made so many covers of many types of songs, it may be possible to determine her effective singing range, or the range she is willing to comfortably sing within. This would require analyzing the notes she sang across the spectrum of songs she has sung and published.
(2) So where does Angelina's beautiful voice come from? Let us go over how a voice is produced per a summary of tutorials provided by the National Center for Voice and Speech. The NCVS conducts research, educates vocologists, disseminates information about voice and speech, and provides referral services to help people around the world enjoy healthy and effective vocal communications. The NCVS has a nice tutorial on voice production based upon their book "Principles of Voice Production" which goes into scientific detail that they said should include knowledge of basic acoustics and some familiarity of college physics.
(3) The human voice is classified into various types, based on pitch, timbre, and various other factors that influence our perception of someone's voice, or how that voice can be used.
It appears that one critical aspect of voice production has to do with one's fundamental frequency (i.e., Fo). Baby cries have a Fo of around 500 Hz (roughly corresponding to the note B4). Child speech ranges from 250-400 Hz (notes B3 to G4). Adult females tend to speak at around 200 Hz on average (about G3), and adult males around 125 Hz (or B2).
(4) As one would probably assume, one's larynx is quite important to voice production. The larynx is the hollow muscular organ forming an air passage to the lungs and holding the vocal cords in humans and other mammals. It sits at the back of the throat, above the windpipe (trachea). The larynx is supported by rings of cartilage, which in men (and occasionally a woman) form the bump of the Adam's apple. The vocal cords are stretchy bands of tissue attached to the inside of the larynx. Air passing in and out of the lungs is pushed through these cords. Everyone's larynx grows during puberty, but a girl's larynx doesn't grow as much as a boy's does. In fact, a man's larynx grows roughly 40% larger (taller and in length) than does a woman's larynx. This larger larynx gives men deeper voices than woman. But there is a tad more involved than just the size of one's larynx.
(5) Note that the 40% size difference of the larynx between men and women does not account for the roughly 60% difference in production of the Fo. Thus, there must be something else. The key variable is the length of the part of the vocal folds within the larynx that is in vibration, which is called the effective vocal fold length. The difference here between men and women is about 60% and we have some indication of where the pitch difference comes from.
(6) Along with pitch, another variable used to classify voices is their quality, or timbre. Timbre is related to the length of the vocal tract. Different vocalists have different vocal tract lengths. To a limited degree singers can control the tract length by raising or lowering the larynx. A longer tract results in a 'darker'-sounding voice, while shorter tracts will make the voice sound 'brighter'. Note that the length of the vocal tract is largely determined by nature. Some of us are born with necks that are swan-like, while others are quite short.
(7) So, it appears that Angelina has been gifted with height and both a longer neck and possibly a larger larynx than the average woman. She thus has lower pitch to be able to produce a lower Fo, plus has a longer vocal track to produce a 'darker'-sounding voice. Add to this the fantastic breath control and a wonderful sense of musicality, and one has a singing prodigy. We all are fortunate to be alive to witness such a rare combination that, in my opinion, is producing a new singing genius.

Why does Angelina sing barefoot?
When she was 6 years old, she was in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and promised she would never again wear shoes while performing until all children of the world had shoes! At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.

I could write a book of comments, but will focus on a couple. First, stage presence - in an interview when she was about 12 she was asked if she was nervous performing. She said "No. I am meant to be on stage." See Gloomy Sunday on Norway's GT age 7 or opening for Norah Jones in Seoul in front of 40.000. But she seems shy when not on stage. Second, she doesn't need to scream to emphasize her message. The tambre of her voice conveys. She's always in control. Thanks for the joint reaction. Hope to see you again.

Since she's 13 here, you could say she's a "kid." But if you focus too much on that, you'll be tempted to qualify your comments with "for a kid." The fact is, this is great compared to any singer, at any age (30, 50, whatever). Ask yourself: "How did you like this compared to Adele's version?" Personally, I prefer Angelina's covers of Adele's songs to the originals, no matter how old either of them were. BTW: she doesn't look her age partly because she's VERY tall: now, at 16, she's about 6'1." So in this video, she was probably already taller than Adele. Musicality, maturity, professionalism, height, everything about Angelina makes her seem twice her age. Taken together, those qualities also largely explain her huge fan base.

This girl has done numerous covers of Adele songs and all are
truly spectacular, for they add Angelina's jazz essence which is
something that Adele does not bring to her music. To me, the
result is that Angelina ALWAYS reaches further into the depths
of my soul than Adele, for I have always found that there is no way
a non-jazz singer, even one as great as Adele, can bring to the fore
as much passion as a true jazz singer and especially one who is.

Once you enter the rabbit hole, you’ll keep burrowing….. :-) People usually have less of an accent when singing: different part of the brain.
When she covers someone she emulates the original artist somewhat and adds her own unique voice and runs etc. Her covers of Adele sound like Adele and …. and don’t at the same time. When she covers Michael Jackson, you, you can guess it, she sounds like him (Heal the World) and doesn’t etc.
Some covers are more reinventions of the original: Bohemian Rhapsody, Billy Jean and I put a spell on you. She has a number of originals as well: 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Shield and many others.
She has covered a wide range of styles and genres and even EDM. So you can go many different directions from here: historical (e.g. Norway got Talent), hysterical (most ratings) or go random to whatever tickles your fancy. Either way, just sit back, relax and enjoy it :-)

@@JacobRestituto First of all it’s important for me to apologise if I have offended you. This wasn’t my intention. Let me explain my post. You mentioned a couple of times that you felt Angie’s voice sounds just like Adele. I’m sure you meant that as a compliment but it’s a trap that many who are new to Angie tend to fall into and for understandable reasons. This particular voice may sound similar to Adele but having listened to Angie for hundreds of hours I’ve discovered that she has many different voices, this being only one. You are new to Angie and so you can’t possibly be aware of just how talented Angie is, being able to perform at the highest level across all genres except Opera and Metal. You will discover that her voice and interpretive and arrangement skills are extraordinary..some have compared her to Mozart (I don’t but you get my point). Consider this, at the age of 16 Angie has produced 170 odd covers and originals covering 68 different iconic artists. I’ve read quite a bit about Adele over the years and I’ve never come across anyone claiming Adele has these skills..I’ve never heard her sing country and western for example, or RAP or EDM, Angie does..The list goes on.
Add to this that I have listened to a small army of musicians, vocal coaches and professional singers who almost all state the same thing, that being, that Adele has a stunning voice but Angie is different level. I also have ears and I can hear for myself who has the better voice. Adding all this up and whilst agreeing that Adele has is stellar vocally, I stand by my opinion that Adele simply isn’t in the same class vocally as Angie especially now when many agree that years of singing have taken their toll on her vocal cords. Saying that someone isn’t in the same class vocally as Angie is certainly not a criticism..if you carry on your journey listening to Angie you will most likely come to the conclusion made by many others, that being that she is already one of the greatest vocalists of all theme.

That is is a secondary language isn't really such a big deal when it comes to Norwegians, Swedes and Danes as we start learning English at early age in school just as frequent as any of the other main subjects. We will have an accent when we speak but never when we sing in English .

I've been following this girl ever since she won Norways got talent when she was 8 years old. She started auditions when she was 7. Im Norwegian and watched her win on the tv. All of Norway was stunned..
I also happened to a mod on Nicks (Thatsingerreactions) channel.
This girl has over 150 covers and 5 original songs and she is only 16 (just turned 16) and i haven't heard a bad one yet. There hasn't been once I've been naw this isn't it.
I want to give you a couple of covers and originals you really should consider checking out.
*I Put a spell on you* (9 years old) and she arranged the song herself.

Even Queen themselves tweetet on twitter "wow what a rendition".. And gave her permission to copyright her version of the song..
*I'd rather go blind* (pretty sure she was 14 but the video says 13 for some reason. She just had her birthday and was trying out her new mic. And was swinging in the mic the wrong way. But still absolutely killed it.
*Im still holding out for you* (recorded when she was 10 years old)
So this song is a hidden gem. Not alot of people know about this but in my opinion is one of her best work ever and more and more people are finding this now.. This song was never released and im not 100% sure why but iv heard that her mother didn't want her to because of some suicidal lyrics at the end of the song and didn't fit her image. I've also heard that her team/family didn't want to release it because of copyright and that and im going to tell you why.
So she was given lyrics by and Norwegian artist called Baby Fuzz and arranged the song and recorded it but put it on the shelves..
Since Baby Fuzz didn't hear back he recorded this song and published it himself. Im not sure exactly when both were released but its pretty close to each other. And Baby fuzz didn't hear Angelina's version until years after..
So I've heard there was alot of rumors on how it was leaked on the video of the song but the comments kept getting deleted. I heard even Baby Face commented on the video but the comments have now been turned off for a good while..
All i know is that all parties is now ok with Angelinas versions to be on the internet.. And im glad it is because this is such a good song and should be heard.
Last one i want to recommend is *Million Miles* (wrote this when she was 14 i believe and was released when she was 15)
This was written for her grandfather who passed and to everyone who has lost someone..
I really want to recommend 25 other songs at least, you can literally pick anything from her catalog and you wont be disappointed....
