The jarring truth about Angelina is she does three simultaneous things with most covers, first, she takes on iconic songs without a hint of fear (usually spots the original artist a bunch of years), second, makes the song her own in big and small ways, and third, stands toe-to-toe with the original artist in delivering a quality or better performance. That she does all this seemingly without effort (that has already been expended in rehearsals), and with her characteristic humble smile, raises the listening experience to 'inexplicable but amazing'! Great reaction! I believe she can sing any song she wants and make it sound perfect for her voice. Her versatility and emotive skills are without peer.

To put it 'simply', this girl is a human chameleon. The actual chameleon constantly
adjusts the external color to match the surroundings, while Angelina adjusts her
vocal exposure to meet the mood at hand. Never heard anyone who could command
so many different genres and it's always effortlessly, no matter the song.
The statement that certain songs would be tailor made for her voice I dispute. One listen to her version of Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" would definitely have you questioning exactly what you think her voice really is. She's, musically, all over the place. And in a grand way, indeed!!!

Welcome back Anna and thanks for another wonderful reaction. She has her own unique way of choosing, reading, adapting and singing the song (and let's not talk about his age, because she is already incomprehensible) and this is the key with which she communicates with our soul and makes us happy. She sings this song with more character and passion than any other singer she has ever heard, including Adele (who is a fantastic singer). She has such a wide vocal range with her incredibly low tones, with those her particular vocal fries and those gorgeous clear highs that she can sing any song and leave you at the mercy of her music.❤️ 😊

I agree this song fit Angelina's voice perfectly. I recently came across a comment written by Jack Brown who expresses one of the things I love about Angelina far better than I can. Jack wrote, What I enjoy most about Angelina's singing is that unlike a lot of singers who approach a song with an attitude of "I'm going to use this song to showcase my vocal talents", she uses her vocal talents to showcase a song's lyrics and melody. You can tell she feels a special relationship with each song she sings, and when she sings, she conveys perfectly to the audience what the song means to her. That's what they call a "stylist" and they're rare, in any era.

Thank you for another nice reaction to Angelina. I love your laid-back but insightful delivery. Kind of makes someone feel like they have come home (which I didn’t really need to do since I’m already here, but you know what I mean 😂).
As for the song, I agree it is one that suits her voice beautifully. As others have said it is true that Angelina is a kind of vocal chameleon and it’s true that she can sing many different styles, that she has a big range and that she can tackle many different genres. That doesn’t change the fact that some songs hit the “sweet spot“ of her voice and just fit like a glove. This one, Cry Me a River, Every Time We Say Goodbye, anything by Amy Winehouse, her Young and Beautiful Lana Del cover, Million Mikes and lots of others.
Wait until you listen to her cover of Adele's Million Years Ago.

I can assure you that what I hear is very different from what you hear in my videos, because I record on a phone, that's why the sound might seem not the best, so no worries, I hear everything:)

Angelina's 13 in this Terrific live performance. I agree that this is right in her wheelhouse. Her crescendos in this performance are Incredible! It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear her do them. There are two more Adele songs that she just nails. I'll leave you the links for both:

I don’t agree with you when you say that in some parts Angelina is struggling. I think her performance is perfect+. She sings the stars out of the sky here, comfortable in any part of the song and the + is for the extra personalised parts she does, like how she comes back from the high volume part and softens it into “we were scared of getting old” almost like a soft cry. Beautiful. And the small runs she does in “just like a soo-oong” stretching it once even into the next word. World class. I agree with you that Angelina will still improve. That’s pure joy all Angie fans are looking forward to ❤️.
I don't think you heard me right, I wasn't talking about this performance but about her "I have nothing" cover. This one is exactly the type of a song that suits her voice and she had no problem performing it unlike her cover of Whitney's song:)

@@AnnaKei By the way, did you listen to « Make you feel my love » by Angelina? Soft and gentle, it’s amazing. At the first line I feel her approaching, on the third line I feel her embrace and on the fifth line I take off, in between the stars she sings about. The landing is soft too. Splendid all along!
