Quake 4: Matthew Kane killed! Space Marines massacred by Strogg!

The Strogg were not defeated by destroying the Nexus. After those events, the war continued and the "Stroggified" cyborg Matthew Kane was sent to the front lines, where he was killed in a firefight with the Strogg. This was captured on camera, with the cameraman also killed and gibbed shortly after recording it.

I probably could make lots of maps for the game very quickly because I am very fast at the predecessor editor, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which uses the same principles. Once I am done with that game I will be taking on Doom 3 and Quake 4 and trying to speed-build single player in these editors. I realise there aren't that many fans for the games but the fact I can edit them easily makes me want to do so

@@baldmanevil I think RaGE's map editor is very similar. You should try to make something for rage too. Does Brink come with radiant editor as well?

@@baldmanevil I was experimenting with DooM 3, made an almost blank section of car tunnel, it looked very good, loaded it up with DooM 3's carmod kit and made a Cyberdemon to chase me. That was about 9 years ago. Lol Fun times. 😆

​@@TAURON85 there's a whole ton of games that use the same, I think Prey as well, although that and Rage were not games I played back in the day so I guess I'm not as motivated to edit them

@@baldmanevil Oh yeah sure, Pray is basically just a total conversation of DooM 3 so of course its map editor it's the same. If you haven't played RaGE and PREY, I recomend you playing through them. Masterpieces.

I wouldn't compare it with this, it's a different catergory of fps. That was a fast paced 90's shooter while this was a slower, more cinematic 00's squad shooter, more like og call of duty from it's time. Like brothers in arms but brain dead.

if you mean change the skies, I believe they are just a texture. I would enclose the map in walls that are textured to be sky

@@vargovakenka12354 my knowledge of editing the game is limited, look up information on how to edit Doom 3 maps (Quake 4 is exactly the same as Doom 3 engine Id Tech 4, and the instructions will work for both games; there is a lot of info about how to edit Doom 3 and also "The Dark Mod" which uses the same engine, on the internet)
